The control system can be simple, pure pneumatic logic or a more complex PLC based system, or something in between. Allen Bradley or Your Favorite We design and build all of our control panels here, at our facility. Left to our own resources, we have standardized on the use of Allen Bradley components, PLC’s and OIT’s. However, if you have other standards, we are happy to use them.
Mettler Batch Controllers When it comes to batching, we think a great deal of Mettler Toledo’s LynxBatch and Jaguar Controllers. They are easy to use, well documented and well supported. However, if you have a favorite or a standard that you have come to use, we’ll be happy to integrate that into the system. The above system used Hardy batch controllers, as the customer’s preference. Most of our panels use Nema 4X stainless steel enclosures. We try and locate all pneumatic connections on the bottom of the panel, or along the left side. All pneumatic ports are clearly labeled and often color coded.
IEDCO Complete and Detailed Design Using the latest version of AutoCAD, we prepare functional specifications, P& ID layouts, electrical wiring schematics, panel layouts, I/O elementary wiring diagrams, program ladder logic and full control documentation with digital photographs of your panel, integrated into the documentation package. All designs adhere to ANSI, IEE, DIN and NEC standards and practices. Panels for Class I or II, Division I or II are no problem. We also understand the audit process in regulated industries and can prepare your automated system for FDA validation. IEDCO systems come fully documented and complete with operating and maintenance manuals including procedures for operating, testing, calibrating and maintaining all equipment and devices.
