The MEI Butterfly Valve sets the standard in hygiene and cleanliness for the handling of powders, granules, pastes, liquids and gases. The Series BV valves are designed for quick and easy disassembling and cleaning without the use of tools. The Butterfly Valve meets all FDA standards and can be used in Clean in Place (CIP) applications in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and fine chemical industries. Alimentary Silicone or PTFE seat 316L stainless steel body, disc and stem Easy to install, disassemble and clean Suitable for vacuum and pressure American ferrules standard, but available with European ferrules Sizes ranging from 4” to 12” (DN 100-400) Available with a pneumatic actuator or manual handle Low pressure drops Mirror polished internal finish Satin finish for external finish Other finishing: electro-polished upon request Maximum working pressure: 2 bar Wide range of accessories
