new art center consisting of: art gallery (10000 sqm) + art hotel (14000 sqm) + artist studios (10000 sqm) that aim to be a new landmark for the area for turism but also culturally and architecturally speaking. the strategy is to make a better use of the site, create corner monoliths and free the in between space. particular emphasis is placed on the reconnection with existing temple and the river front.

xinda station

competition proposal for the refurbishment and conversion of the 276 m long and 15000 sqm xinda station. our program started with a mountain inspiration, few but bold materials, colors and textures, placing activities on the roof and reconnect the site with surrounding theme parks and existing turistic spots and facilities.

12000 sqm brand new hotel in a virgin turistic spot for shenzhen. the program is to have a linear building that twists allowcating the entrance pointing directly to the sea. the waterfront has a more relaxed and spacious guestrooms typology and the overall building is raised from 1f which is dedicated to parking and service areas.

refurbishment of 8400 sqm building (100 guestrooms + restaurant) with 6000 sqm adjacent landscape. the chimney is the only remaining testament of the factory once there and we intend to make it a landmark for the area. playful facades with local inspiration and flexuous elements create different spaces and serve as special features.

200+ sqm villa with private garden and hot spring outdoor pool near pingyao ancient city. geometrical and rigid elevations are in contrast with flexuous glass elements where the garden is framed. few materials with strong natural feeling, inner ward focus and a usable roof make the little villa comfortable but also stand out.

bulgari design week 016 event

proposal for the bulgary gallery and product re-launch during the 2016 milan design week. in 1999, bugari made a choice, now they are returning to the past proving that there are no wrong choices and perhaps in the future, there will be another re-launch of the same product. the user entering the space feels as if he could join the bugari archive in search of a new/old ring, finding himself immersed in a universe of drawers.

intangible essence pop-up store
typology: retail location: milan
proposal for a digital fabrication temporary e-commerce design furniture shop. concept started from the fact that objects have matter but also have an intangible feature because of their digital previous state. we match this with the plato cave myth: so we create a cave shop using stretched textile and video mapping technology. users will discover the objects step-by-step going through different moments, in each of them they will receive different feedback, a slow experience to reach the true knowledge of the object.

demos hostel

low-cost hotel located in milan. our idea was to give the minimum comfort standard and clear the room for all the rest. only the basic furniture is real, then the layout plays with unreal object sketched on the wallpaper. everyone can leave a trace of his transit and everyone can decide to save or clean the old drawings. in a different way and in different time both the designer and the client will share their will to communicate and their creativity.

concept started from the hive idea. hhe hive and honey suggestion was used choosing hexagon scheme and warm and natural materials. hive like aim sharing: several tasks but only one goal to achieve: four different floors for different departments but a unique layout and style for furniture, same floor and ceiling finishes to improve the domestic environment and multifunction spaces.
