Debenhams flagship store in the shopping center "Aviapark" August 29th, 2015 in Moscow in the shopping mall "Aviapark" on Khodynka Field was opened the flagship store of British retailer Debenhams. On three floors with a total area of 8400 square meters are presented men`s, women`s and children's clothing and shoes, various accessories, perfumes and cosmetics from a partner of Debenhams - the company Rive Gauche, as well as goods for home and interior. The design concept of flagship store Debenhams in Russia`s capital (Moscow) has been performed in accordance with the corporate identity and brand image by British experts. A key role in the concept of trading halls assigned the play of light and space. The lighting system of a large clothing store on all three floors was conceived and performed by the Russian company MDM-LIGHT in accordance with English design project. Central to this system, along with luminaires Downlights, occupy metal halide spotlights PINO spot (own brand of MDM-LIGHT – BOSMA). These spotlights with metal halide lamps were developed specifically for this project and have passed a comprehensive review and evaluation
by specialists in the UK. PINO spot – that is the spotlight system for sophisticated lighting scenarios, which cannot fail to impress thanks to minimalist and purist design, that provide fascinating illumination and combine pinpoint accent lighting and wide-area illumination.
In accordance with the general concept, the store installed kilometers of track systems, which intersect with each other not only in perpendicular, but also under unusual angles. In total, at the request of the store, it was supplied more than 1,600 spotlights with metal halide lamps PINO spot. They are used for lighting clothes, goods in a department of underwear, as well as for the presentation of the designer bedding and accessories. About the shopping mall "Aviapark" (The Fleet) It is the East Europe's largest shopping and entertainment complex with a total area of 390 thousand sq. m and a GLA of 225 thousand sq. m. It is located on the territory of Khodynka field, on the former site of the Central aerodrome named after M.V. Frunze and of the first Moscow airport. Put into operation in late 2014. There are more than 225 shops, cafes and restaurants, a modern 17-screen multiplex-cinema Karo SKY 17, a yearround skating rink and a 24-meter cylindrical aquarium with tropical fish. Parking in the center is designed for 5000 cars. The lighting system of the shopping center "Aviapark" is based on the widespread use of lighting fixtures ARIZ, developed specifically for this project by specialists of the company MDM-LIGHT.
