HANOVER -- On Dec. 12, Hanover DASH began offering specialized transportation services to adults who are 60-plus years of age and persons with short-term or longterm disability. As of Feb. 20, this service administered by the Hanover Department of Community Resources had 101 registered riders and had completed 308 trips. What’s behind making these rides possible? Hanover has contracted with Roundtrip, a comprehensive, on-demand

paratransit transportation solution. The connection and collaboration of Roundtrip’s robust technology and reliable network of drivers to Hanover County residents enhances independence, health and wellbeing for many. Hanover DASH provides individualized trips to doctors’ offices, grocery stores,

banks and formal social/recreational programs as well as to Hanover government buildings. Approved riders have greater flexibility in when and how they book point-to-point, same-day rides, or for van transportation, with as little as 24-hour notice. Roundtrip provides an online booking platform and mobile app for riders to book rides with ease, and a 24/7 call center for support or additional booking assistance. see DASH, pg. 17
