CREATIVE DIRECTION virtual event design As a wedding planner, you meticulously plan your clients weddings. Your spreadsheets are immaculate. Their budget is balanced to the penny, the vendors you work with are top notch, and the timeline is intentionally thoughtout. Your planning game is on point...now your clients want you to design their weddings too. This brand new design service by Michelle Edgemont is offered to wedding planners, such as yourself, who want to concentrate on what they specialize in, planning, while being able to offer a design service to your clients. We work together, virtually, to create a design vision for your client's wedding. You take that vision and use your preferred wedding pros in your market to bring it to life. The look, feeling, and beauty of your clients weddings will be cohesive, curated, and seamless from the ceremony to the last dance.

HOW IT WORKS WHAT’S INCLUDED Design Board and Color palette for overall aesthetic of event. Inspiration boards for all paper goods including invitations, save the dates, table numbers, escort cards, programs, and place cards. Creative suggestions for the linens and catering rentals. Specific inspiration boards for the tablescapes, ceremony decor, and signage.
OPTIONAL ADD-ONS Sketches of exact design ideas of any decor item. Art Direction and management of all creative vendors, including florist, lighting, stationers, etc. Custom, handmade decor pieces to coordinate with the inspiration boards. Sourcing and online links of specific props and decor to coordinate with the inspiration boards.
CONTRACT The Creative Direction contract is made between the planner and Michelle Edgemont.
PAYMENT The planner pays Michelle Edgemont directly. No money or contracts are passed between the couple and the designer.
TIMELINE Creative Direction is typically finished within six to eight weeks. It's preferred to begin at least four months before the wedding date.
THEN WHAT? The planner uses their preferred vendors, such as florists and calligraphers, to execute the design of the event based on the Creative Direction. Michelle Edgemont can be hired to create and manage all decor.

Each Design Board comes with a custom color palette with HEX and Pantone numbers. Use these codes with your creative vendors to keep colors consistant from the paper goods to the linens to the icing on the cake.

SOURCING $500 I'll will use my years of prop shopping experience to uncover the perfect decor items for your client's wedding within their budget to coordinate with the Design Board.
ART DIRECTION
$750
I'll be the creative contact for all your design vendors. I'll work closely with the florist, stationer, baker, calligrapher, etc to guide them in using the Design Board and inspiration boards to create show-stopping work for your clients.
HANDMADE DECOR
priced per item
I'm known for my custom, handmade decor. I'll design and create one of a kind decor pieces for your client's wedding based on the Design Board. Handmade decor is priced per piece plus shipping.
