Inspired by the graceful silhouette of the leaves of the Calathea plant, Italian designer Roberto Lazzeroni has woven an organic beauty into a duo of office armchairs that redefine workplace sophistication and comfort.

The Giorgetti Calathea executive armchair epitomizes executive elegance. Crafted with meticulous attention, its seat and backrest are made of curved plywood and padded with polyurethane foam, its pewter metal base providing a sturdy foundation. Its five-spoke, powdercoated metal swivel base with castors, seamlessly integrates height adjustment through a gas spring and a fixed and tilting mechanism, offering its occupant tailored comfort and relaxation.

A reverential nod to the leaf’s striking ribbing, the backrest features an inlaid wood finish, spotlighting Lazzeroni’s keen eye for detail. The powder-coated metal frame is available in various finishes: natural, anthracite grey, biscuit, and ash grey.

Complementing its executive counterpart, the Giorgetti Calathea guest armchair exudes a cosy refinement, making it ideal for workplace settings. The guest armchair is available in four-spoke, painted aluminium swivel base and four-legged ashwood frame, each with a distinct visual persona.

Available in a comely palette, the upholstery selection, for both executive and guest armchairs, is a canvas for customization. Whether in single-colour leather for a plush look, or a blend of leather and fabric, with the back in quilted leather detailing, and the interior with a fabric or leather frame, the options harmonise external elegance with internal comfort.
