Happy Holidays

2020 The year of COVID changed the way we spend our time. We cancelled our trip to Greece and our annual San Juan Island cruise and settled for rediscovering where we live through long walks. Here are just a few of the places we explored.

Seattle Waterfront Park

One of our favorite walks is the Seattle waterfront. It gave us a renewed appreciation for how picturesque our little corner of the world is.

Bellevue To our surprise, we found walking paths we never knew about before. This is the waterfront trail along Meydenbauer Bay in Bellevue.

Kirkland Another discovery was the waterfront path along Lake Washington in Kirkland. The path jumps from the sidewalk on Lake St. to the trail that winds along in front of the milliondollar condos.

Bainbridge Island A short ferry ride to Bainbridge let us walk through the Bloedel Reserve.

• A day trip and walk-on ferry ride took us to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island
