Women's health in the workplace Menopause Did you access our training on 16 October to celebrate World Menopause Day? It is the second year in a row that we have provided this training in our effort to raise awareness of impact of women suffering symptoms in the workplace. Work/life balance Some tips to remind us to look after ourselves: 1. Important reminder on the weekends, when so many don't take time to fully unplug. We're now in a time in which three of our largest and most important institutions-work, family and school-are often overlapping in one place. So the challenge, even for those not dealing with children, is how to live and work in a sustainable way-one in which we're not stressed all the time and consumed by all the demands on us. 2. We are ordinary people doing ordinary things and it is ok to ask for help. This includes our managers and leaders - we need you to lead by example and look after yourselves so that you can look after us and lead us through these times of extraordinary change. 3. My Best Self 101 explains how to be kind to one another and have selfcompassion. A couple of weeks ago to support the concept of flexible working we suggested trialling a message in your email signature to highlight that we are working different hours and don't therefore expect a response outside of your normal working hours.
