T
his year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China. China’s economy has made a great leap for 70 years with the foreign trade volume increasing from 1.1 billion US dollars in the early years of new nation to 4600 billion US dollars in 2018. China has become the world’s first trading nation with the trade structure continuously being optimized, the mechanical and electrical products and new hi-tech products being the important part of export and the private enterprises being the main force of the foreign trade. Many domestic enterprises have developed high-quality products and exhibited them on the domestic and international stages to compete with those world well-known brands. At Canton Fair, Shineray exhibited its new retro off-road model – XY600GY, which carries a single cylinder, 4-stroke, oil-cooled engine with a max power of 29.5kw/6,000rpm and a max torque of 49.8N·m/4,500rpm, excellent and powerful. Bashan showed a new model BS200GY-18J which mainly aims at the markets such as South America, Southeast Asia and Africa. As an important part in the international two-wheeler industry, Chinese manufacturers also brought their high-end products to the world stage, such as 700CL-X from CFMOTO, HURACAN400 from TARO, C1S from YADEA, E2 MAX from DAYANG and so on. In addition, a new force of electric two-wheelers appeared at EICMA whose name is Doinnext. It is an independent high-end brand initiated by Qianjiang and debuted its first electric motorcycle Bo at the Milan exhibition. All these brands reflect high quality, high-tech and best service from China. Chinese products are becoming more and more popular among the overseas customers.

KYMCO Will Release European Scooter - People 250 By The Year-end China - In a brand activity of KYMCO recently, KYMCO has announced that its new 250cc scooter - People 250 will come into the market by the end of this year. Before then, KYMCO released People S 150, and People 250 to be unveiled this time is the advanced model of this series. As a European scooter, People 250 is equipped with big wheel hubs (front: 16 inches, rear: 14 inches), the same as that on People S 150, which belongs to the standard big scooter. ABS is also its standard equipment. In term of power, People 250 carries a single cylinder, twovalve, water-cooled, 249cc engine, the same as that on Xciting/CT250, with the maximum power of 16kw and the maximum horsepower of 21.6hp, very stable. In term of weight, People 250 is 8kg lighter than Xciting 250. All lamps on People 250 are LED lamps. Both the configuration and materials on People 250 are much more highend than CT250. Benelli TRK 502X 2020 Edition Is Much More Worth The Wait China - At the EICMA 2019, Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X, as the 2020 models, appeared at the exhibition. There is no difference between the 2020 edition and the 2019 edition launched in China from the outside, still powerful and cool with its outline and full of strong visual impact. And then from the details you’ll find many upgrades. 1. The double throttle cables are positioned under the handlebars. 2. The rear turn light bracket is removed. 3. The front mudguard is lengthened (including that on the 502’s road edition). 4. Many parts are upgraded. It is adopted a new backlight switchgear, new-style rearview mirror with TRK logo, new-style handlebars, new adjustable clutch lever, new aluminium alloy rear luggage rack and new saddle. The new 502X and 502 still carry the water-cooled, DOHC, double-cylinder, 8-valve, 502cc in-line engine, with the maximum power of 35kW(47.6hp)/8,500rpm, and the peak torque of 46N·m/6,000rpm. The new 502X still adopts the 19-inch front wheel and 17-
inch vacuum spoke wheel hub. The suspension system on the new 502X adopts the 50mm inverted fork, single rear shock absorber and double-tube rear swing arm. The travel of front suspensions on these two models is 140mm. The travel of rear suspension on 502X is 62mm while that on 502 is 45mm. The brake systems on these two models all adopt 320mm double-disc, but TRK 502 is equipped with four piston calipers while 502X is adopted two piston calipers. The dimension of these two models’ rear brake disc is 260mm in diameter with single piston caliper. There is a spray disc on TRK 502X and a regular disc on 502.
SYM Launched A Brand-New Model – DRG158 China - Recently, SYM’s brand-new water-cooled four-valve sport scooter DRG158 was firstly revealed in Taiwan, China. At the EICMA last year, DRG158 made its debut for the first time, which was given all-new design langue and strong power by SYM. SYM has aimed to create a new generation of sport model. This bike has a sharp and tough line, aggressive. After being adjusted the body dimensions and the positions of frame and rear absorber, DRG has been concentrated its center of gravity and achieved almost perfect body proportion of 50:50, which highly upgrades this bike’s handling. In addition, SYM’s ALEH (Anti-Lift Engine Hanger System) technology (one of “three zero” technologies) is also used on DRG. This bike’s biggest dip angle can reach 42 degrees, which shows its strong sports performance. DRG carries a single cylinder, water-cooled, four-valve, 158cc engine newly developed by SYM that can produce a maximum power of 11.4kw/8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 15.1N·m/5,500rpm. America-Only Aprilia RSV4 RR And Tuono RR To Sell From May 2020 America - Unlike the auto industry, where carmakers feed on special edition versions of their best-sellers, the motorcycle world is not particularly keen on such products. Yet such developments do happen from time to time, and when they do we something like this pops-up: a limited edition version for two of Aprilia’s high-profile bikes, the RSV4 RR and Tuono RR. And by limited, we mean both in numbers and geographically. There will be only 100 units of these bikes ever made, and all will sell exclusively on the American market starting in May 2020. Both revised models are inspired, says Aprilia, from the nameplate’s racing history. That means a special livery, called Misano, is there to honor the famous Italian circuit where Aprilia won a championship class for the first time in 1987, at the hands of Italian rider Loris Reggiani. Aside from the special livery, Aprilia promises both models will also get carbon fiber front fenders for enhanced looks, and lithium batteries as standard for decreased weight.
To make sure both owner and other jealous riders know what they’re dealing with, a large A just like the one used on the bike maker’s race machines will adorn each one, while individually numbered reminders will be fitted on the top triple clamp of the RSV4 and on the fuel tank cover of the Tuono. Aprilia does make it clear it’s talking about a production run of 100 units for each model, all of them reserved for the U.S.
Keanu Reeves’ KRGT-1 Motorcycle Takes Custom To New Heights US - Custom bike makers are a dime a dozen in the motorcycle-hungry U.S. Most of these groups are used to making oneoff bikes, bringing their unique touch to whatever the customer wants built. Very few of them however have a series production bike that can be tailored to the needs of each individual. Arch is such a builder. The company founded nearly a decade ago by Keanu Reeves has become the go-to name for high-end bikes with a touch of personality. And one of its main product is the KRGT-1. Built as an American cruiser, the KRGT-1 was getting a major overhaul last month. The extensive changes were detailed by the bike maker and they speak of over 20 major differences and the fitting of more than 150 new parts and components. Powering the bike remains the same 2032cc S&S/ARCH engine. The new parts include larger diameter 48mm Öhlins front forks, a home-grown new billet aluminum triple trees for the front suspension, and two-channel ABS supplied by Bosch. For the bod-
ywork, the changes start with a redesigned fuel tank, tail section and seat. What’s even more important for future Arch owners is the fact that each of these bikes is built with the help of the client, so each of them, despite being series production, is unique.
The Order Period For The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja H2™ Motorcycle Lineup Was Open Track Only Bike Designed By Aston Martin Has Valkyrie DNA, Turbocharged Engine UK - At EICMA 2019 motorcycle show in Milan, British car builder Aston Martin announced a partnership with British-based Brough Superior Motorcycles for the creation of a track-only bike the likes of which the world has never seen. The bike is called AMB 001 and is supposed to blend “Aston Martin design and state-of-the-art Brough Superior engineering.” Which means Brough took care of performance, while Aston was charged with making the bike look like no other. And we’ll start with what Brough added to the mix, and that essentially is a V-twin turbo-charged engine that develops a heart stopping 180 hp on a 180 kg bike. This engine is the first turbo V-twin configuration used by the bike maker on one of its models since it was established in 1919. Holding the engine is a bike frame and body that are lightweight and sleek. The said dry weight was achieved through the widespread use of materials like carbon fiber, titanium and billet aluminum, while the looks are there to remind of mid-engined Aston Martin cars.

Wearing the carmaker’s Stirling Green and Lime Essence colors, the bike boasts a carbon fiber fin designed to mimic Aston car wings. Other elements, like the nine-micron stainless steel wings fitted on the nose and the tank, have been adapted straight from the Valkyrie. Aston and Brough will build the AMB 001 in very limited numbers – 100 units – starting next year.

BMW Big Boxer Motorcycle Engine Is Most Powerful To Date Germany - It took German company BMW close to a year, from the time it first hinted at a brand new motorcycle engine, to the actual unveiling the hardware, but the wait was worthwhile: recently, the Big Boxer, as Motorrad calls it, broke cover as the shiny new toy we were waiting for. The engine has been presented before, first time on a Motorrad bike called Concept R 18 and showed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May 2019, and then on two private builds, but this is the first time the carmaker spills the full specs online. The Big Boxer is a two-cylinder motorcycle engine with a capacity of 1,802 cc, making it according to BMW the “highest-capacity 2-cylinder boxer engine of all time ever used in motorcycle series production.” Rated at 91 hp and a maximum torque of 158 Nm, the engine is also the most powerful boxer the Bavarians ever built. The hardware has been designed to work on the bikes it will be fitted on with the help of a single-disc dry clutch that sends torque to the 6-speed transmission. No performance specs were announced yet.

KYMCO CV3 displayed in Milan lines to make it look both scooter-like and tech-driven. The four vertical front forks become the signature configuration of CV3, and the double A rocker arm is designed to provide greater stability while maintaining maximum flexibility. The rear multi-link central shock absorber is adjustable (preload). Both the front wheels are equipped with double piston calipers and ABS. The full LCD meter is also expected to be equipped with Kymco’s latest Noodoe system. The concept of three-wheel motorcycle is to change the current urban commuting road condition, which has higher safety factor and bearing capacity compared to two-wheeled models, while it takes up less public road resources than cars. Therefore, global manufacturers may also build their own three wheelers. CV series is the representative of Kymco. Kymco displayed the CV3, a three wheel version developed on the same power platform of 550cc parallel engine used in the firm’s AK550 at EICMA. It is Kymco’s flagship three-wheel product. There is ADC design element on the front face, with beak, hollowed-out middle part exposing the water tank to face the airflow from the front.
SYM MAXSYM 400i E5 displayed SYM launched its new MAXSYM 400i E5 at Milan show in this time. Compared with the MAXSYM 400i, the wheelbase of E5 is also 1,555mm, but the seat height is increased to 800mm and the fuel tank is reduced by 2L. E5 has been designed in a light weight, with more emphasis on the improvement of handling. The new LED headlamp layout is similar to the current JOYMAX Z, with additional LED eyebrow lights. It also uses the advanced keyless startup system. E5 has more tough body lines. The newly adjusted four-stroke, SOHC, water-cooled, 399cc engine generates a maximum power of 24.3kw/6,500rpm and a maximum torque of 37.8N·m /6,000rpm. Compared with the power data of the previous generation MAXSYM 400i, the maximum power output comes earlier and the torque is also improved.

The Leoncino 800 Trail version was also displayed. The new product is expected to be available in the first half of next year. Leoncino 800 is more muscular and has a stronger outline compared with its brothers in the family. The golden inverted front shock absorber is particularly eye-catching.
Leoncino 800 uses a four-stroke, water-cooled, DOHC, two-cylinder, 8-valve, 754cc, in-line engine, which can reach the maximum power of 56kW at 8,000rpm and the maximum torque of 67N·m at 6,500rpm. hina International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor), an annual gathering of the motorcycle industry, has concluded its 2019 session and received 170,000 motorcycle fans from all over the country.

he entry-level small displacement rally model becomes increasingly popular, and Dayang TIMO200 has been widely praised after being launched to the market.
Appearance, riding posture Similar to other rally bikes, Dayang TIMO200 has a sharp beak, big windshield, and 13-liter fuel tank to ensure a range of more than 400km. The high-end version has three aluminum boxes and anti-fall rod. TIMO200 looks like a pure rally bike. The body line is reasonable, the workmanship, welding, plastic joint of mechanical connections are great. The front and rear wheels are added with dynamic balance block. TIMO200’s configuration has already been briefed in last issue, and a few highlights are brought up here. It adopts imported Japanese DID drive chain (engine timing chain is also from DID). It is provided with a double-tank water cooler, and each tank has a separate water pipe (at the back) connected to the engine. The advantage of this design is to open one water tank cooling cycle when the water temperature is not high and to automatically open the double water tank cooling cycle when the water temperature is high during long-distance riding.
Impressive low-torque performance

TIMO200 is powered by the single-cylinder water-cooled 189cc engine independently developed by Dayang, with a maximum power of 12.0kw/8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 15.8N·m/6,500rpm. It is a typical low-rev engine. In the actual acceleration test, the best acceleration time measured from 0 to 80km/h was 8.5s, from 0 to 90km/h was 11.7s, and from 0 to 100km/h was 16.8s. The engine power explodes at low torques, while the ultimate speed was unsatisfactory, indicating that the rev adjustment emphasizes the low-torque performance, which is in line with Dayang’s positioning of light rally bike. The throttle is responsive and gear shifting is smooth. The body stability under high speed is also good. Although it is a 157kg rally bike, the body does not shake much while running at 100km/h. According to official data, the fuel consumption is 2.3L/100m, and the theoretic cruising range is 400km with the support of a 13L tank. But during the actual violent riding (including rush hour in the morning, acceleration test, braking test, uphill and off-road riding), the tested fuel consumption is close to 3 liters. Although the actual fuel consumption is a little different from the officially claimed

data, the bike easily ran 400km range, which is a virtue to long-distance motorcyclists.
Reliable brake Dayang TIMO200 adopts CST tires, front 110/70-17, rear 140/70-17. Although ABS version is not available on the market, the braking data is still good. The best braking distance at 50km/h-0 is 12.2m, and the best braking distance at 30km/h-0 is 4.4m. Emergency braking at 30km/h-0 is stable but the bike waggles a little while applying emergence brake at 50km/h-0. Generally, the overall brake performance is great. When the ABS version is released, the braking data will be further improved to avoid tail waggling. TIMO easily conquered a wild square of inch-thick small pebbles (unpaved surface), while a small scooter was completely stuck on this road.
Excellent vibration and noise control The newly developed water-cooled four-valve engine has a meter speed reading of 0-106km/h. During the whole acceleration process, the vibration feeling at the handlebars, pedals and saddle was not obvious, which was also attested by the vibroscope: from idle speed to maximum throttle, the maximum vibration amplitude of handlebar was 0.037mm and 0.046mm respectively (only about 1/5-1/10 of that of most tested motorcycles); the vibration amplitude at the pedal was 0.063mm and 0.045mm respectively (the pedal
vibration was slightly higher at the beginning but reduced as it speeded up). The vibration suppression stands out among the domestic 190cc-250cc single-cylinder models.
Riding on highway
In addition, the noise control of TIMO is also excellent. The sound is soft, and the acceleration process does not produce strange noise. The maximum noise was only 104DB, which is equivalent to that of the mainstream 125cc scooters from joint ventures.
Riding the bike on the highway, the rider felt no fatigue after one hour due to the comfortable riding triangle. It could quickly accelerate from 0 to 80km/h, and the engine responded fast before 8,000rpm. In addition, the bike performed well when it turned around or passed curves. any motorcyclists would consider JC200T (Tiramisu) when they bought a commuting scooter in the early days. As one of the first generation big scooters, JC200T has proven itself in several ways.
Last year, the Italian brand ADIVA formally entered the Chinese market, and came into cooperation with Jincheng. One year later, the two brands have launched their jointly-developed big scooter AJ201, which is based on JC200T’s power platform. What makes this big scooter of mixed Chinese and Italian descent stand out?
Looks AJ201 is changed in the front design after incorporating ADVIA elements, with more prominent front lines and stronger impression of sports essential. enda was still a small and low-key brand in China in 2015. Stepping into a new market segment and focusing on the development and crossover sports cruisers, the brand demonstrated strong originality with the launch of FUN390 at EIC-

At that time, Benda realized the importance of self-invention, so it began to develop engines regardless of the costs and stepped again into the sports bike market. Now Benda’s new factory that cost 100 million is about to open, its independently-developed engines are maturing, and its first original street bike is coming along.
Unique look In the ultra-competitive middleweight street bike market, Benda offers the Asura400 that is designed with a single-sided swingarm and powered by its own 400cc dual-cylinder engine, and takes on an ultra-modern original look. It took three years from development inception to mass production of Asura400. Benda independently completed the appearance design, matching of powertrain to the frame, and the design of single-sided swingarm. The unique appearance is extremely impressive. ROAD TESTING Asura400 has a curb weight of 193kg. It is worth mentioning that the factory has a new way to reduce weight, which means the curb weight of later batches of Asura400 may be 20kg lighter and the power performance then should be even better.
Asura400 is equipped with Benda’s own actual 389cc water-cooled asynchronous two-cylinder engine, with built-in balance shaft, with a maximum power of 27kw/9,500rpm, and a maximum torque of 32N·m/8,000rpm. It also has a Delphi EFI and 6-speed transmission. Because of the difference in actual displacement, the torque of Asura400 is smaller than that of CFMoto 400NK (400.4cc, 31.5kw, 35.4N·m).
The power output becomes more forceful at the middle and high rev range, but the smoothness and vibration control at low revs are good. With advantages of an asynchronous two-cylinder engine, there is no obvious vibration during the acceleration process until about 7,500rpm.
In terms of riding posture, Asura400 doesn’t feel as aggressive as it looks. The man-machine design fully considers the comfort requirements of daily commuting. The wheelbase is 1400mm long. Everything feels compact. It is more suitable for slim riders.

Riding experience Before the test, the factory re-adjusted the shock absorbers of Asura400, and replaced with a new spring. The advantage of the new shock absorption state was easily felt at curves. However, the shock absorption effect is weaker on rough roads in the city. The readjusted shock absorbers and the Maxxis tires make a perfect match, providing good curve performance. When the tires were almost rubbed to its limit, the fairing and the side support were not affected at all, indicating that Asura400’s chassis barely interferes its curve performance.

KP350 is equipped with the DRF350 dual-cylinder water-cooled EFI six-speed power system, with standard ABS, actually-tested maximum power of 21kW/8,500rpm, actually-tested maximum torque of 28.5 N·m/5,500rpm, and actual top speed of 135km/h. KP350’s performance highlights at low torque. KP350 is equipped with the intelligent EFI system jointly developed by Lifan and UAES (United Automotive Electronic System Co., Ltd.), which can adjust engine load and adapt to various harsh environmental conditions such as high temperature, extreme coldness, and plateau. This Qinghai-Tibet Line test ride went through wilderness, plateau, and other complex road conditions, while KP350 lived up to expectations. The tires are mainly wear-resistant, with adequate tread width and good road holding ability. As this route was basically in dry areas, there was not much feeling in its wetland performance. As introduced by KP350’s designer, considering that the target users are those who shift from small displacements to large ones and are not familiar with ABS and large-torque models, so KP350’s ABS system is especially designed with the anti-head-up and anti-tail-up functions.

The front brake provides good practical effect. KP350 adopts LED light source, highly efficient and energy saving. The white, green, blue face lamp show personality. The dovetail tail lamp is eye-catching. The illuminating range of the riding lamp is just appropriate. The riding comfort is not so satisfying for a long-distance journey. The riding posture tends slightly forward to be a little aggressive. Therefore, the wrist is stressed during the ride to be a little tired. But this is not a problem for a street bike. KP350 highlights great handling. The Qinghai-Tibet line is not so flat as we hear, often with potholes and rough ruts to challenge the rider. KP350’s excellent handling has helped to avoid many operation errors on the road. The standard USB charging port (current at 5V1A) is a user-friendly design to enable mobile phone navigation, call, and photo taking during the ride.
The original balance of the rear wheel is very good, while the value deviation of the front wheel balance block is relatively larger. Although it is a testing model, we hope that the factory will pay more attention to dynamic balance for mass production of this motorcycle. Because this is an important performance indicator of large displacement sports motorcycles. The tested KP350 is a cruising version with a TFT full-color LCD meter that can automatically switch light intensity according to strong or weak light environment. The meter is also designed to be able to switch between day and night modes according to the ambient light. In addition, what is commendable is that Lifan has set up many service stations along the Qinghai-Tibet line, which are open to all motorcyclists on that road. It is a great deed. For fuel consumption, the low-level indicator flickered when it ran 350km with a full tank of fuel; the fuel tank dried up at 432km; then 13.81L fuel was filled in (about the same capacity as the official 14L) the empty tank. The average fuel consumption was 3.25L/100km, which is approximate to the official data (3.4L). The taillight design is nice and the cocking-up tail is in vogue. The bike was not added with a tail box for this test ride, which was for the consideration of not changing the original bike too much to test its most original state of overall high-speed performance.

Speedies to the Podium If we look in the field of speed, J.Juan has been proclaimed champion in Italy, France, Portugal and Spain in Moto3, single disk, and Premoto3. He has also won in the European
(FIM-CEV) motorcycle 3 and in the Talent Cup, and we have done so in multiple ways by equipping different brands such as Honda, BeOn, RMU, KTM or MIR.
Many will tell us that in Moto3 of the World Cup we have not been successful. This is false! In the World Cup we cannot equip our double disc front system because our engineering team considers that it is not in the proper development phase to win races, but the riders who have used our Thumbrake have climbed, continuously, to the top of the competition. This is the case with Aaron Canet, and, it seems that next season will bring very positive news about our thumb brake in all categories, even in MotoGP. Also, in Moto2 of the World Cup we have had a breakthrough. This season has been equipped by Stop and Go, a team that in previous seasons struggled to score. In this season, they have achieved 2 pole position and they have climbed twice to the podium! We already foresee them competing for first place with Alex MĂĄrquez next year.

The look and feel of the Panther The aluminium Trellis frame is welded in a handcraft way. The scoop seat is hand-made with one-piece of fine leather and the metal cut handlebars position is for the sweptback riding of the cruiser. The front floorboards are cast with a “H”, which stands for HADIN. Panther headlights have 4 reflection lenses with upper and lower beams for different illuminating distance, and the LED brake light also has a cutting-edge design. Panther comes with an almost infinite number of colours and even when painting is concerned, special attention was dedicated by Hadin, who has decided
to rely on a special machine that ensures a perfect finishing, resulting in a balanced combination of style and elegance. The comfortable riding position ensures leisure feeling during the whole trip. In addition, the adjustable suspensions – 3 different adjustments: Soft, Normal and Hard – the double disc brakes on the front and the disc brake on the rear, together with the ABS, all contribute to experience an overall excellent and safe riding experience.

More smart features Panther comes with a powerful on-board computer that controls all the main functions of the motorcycle. No more key needed: a fingerprint technology – the fingerprint unlock is equipped on top of the charging tank – will give the rider a fast access, with accesses allowed for different drivers. On/off switch is still there, but also bound to an App in smart phones, both for IOS and Android operating systems, which allows for other functions through wireless connection. Smart phone projection, as well as all the main parameters

A brighter future for lithium battery e-bike market Currently, lithium battery e-bikes are mainly used in China (55%), Europe (32%), Japan and South Korea (9%), North America (3%) and South Asia (1%). From 2019 to 2023, the lithium battery e-bike market will have a compound growth rate of 23%, and it is estimated to have a market size of 33.1 million units in 2023. This indicates that lithium battery e-bikes have entered a rapid development period. The development of lithium battery e-bikes in the Chinese market is particularly fast. In 2018, the sales volume of lithium battery electric bicycles reached 4.11 million, with a year-on-year growth of 62.5%. The penetration rate of lithium battery electric bicycles in the e-bike market reached 12.45%. It is expected to reach 10 million units in 2020 and reach a penetration rate of 50% in 2021. BMW’s New Electric Motorcycle Could Be Frameless Germany - It won’t be long now until more established bike makers follow the lead of Harley-Davidson and come up with their own electric two-wheelers. Many are working already on such projects, some in utter secrecy, others less so. BMW is among those planning to go electric in the not so distant future. Although is yet to present the first fully electric production bike, the Bavarian company already showed its intention of going electric with the presentation of the naked Vision DC Roadster back in June 2019. Now, thanks to a piece of info coming via Electrek, you can get a first glimpse at what may be an electric BMW Motorrad bike, albeit just in the form of a patent drawing. It’s unclear when or to whom the patent was filed with, but it does show the direction BMW plans to take in this respect.
