Commendations and congratulations are in order on the debut and formal presentation of the Fourteenth Annual Links Beautillion! I am so proud of your organization and the participating Beaux. Much is to be said and long remembered regarding the achievements of the Beautillion participants and your success stories demonstrated in areas of academics, leadership, community service, church involvement, the arts and/or sports.

Your experience as a Beaux is worthy of this community’s admiration and applause. You serve as an example for high school seniors to follow. On behalf of the City of Tallahassee and its citizens, I salute you as you have accepted and demonstrated your commitment to leadership, character, high ideals and purposes. AKINS

Beau Tristen D. Akins is the son of Ms. Latasha Allen. He attends Overcomer’s Worship Center. A senior at Lincoln High School with a cumulative GPA of 3.6, Beau Tristen will attend Florida A&M University as a Business major. While in school, Beau Tristen is more than a student, he is a member of the Art Club at Lincoln High School. Tristen is a member of the Mighty Light Team—a national championship step team. He is President of the Omega Lamplighters, Incorporated, Tallahassee Chapter’s leadership and mentoring program. As an active leader in the community, he has accumulated over 150 hours of community service, participating in food drives, beautification efforts, and other volunteer events. Beau Tristen intends to become an entrepreneur. He is being escorted by Attendant Demetria Coley. Beau Tristen’s guiding quote is by Albert Einstein: “Try not to become a man of success, but rather become a man of value.”

DAWKINS

Beau Rayln Dawkins is the son of Mrs. Patricia Shaw and Mr. Charles Dawkins and brother to five siblings. He attends Destiny Church of Tallahassee. A senior at Crossroad Academy Charter School and dual enrolled at Tallahassee Community College with a high school cumulative GPA of 3.5, Beau Rayln will attend Florida State University as a Criminal Justice major. While in school, Beau Rayln is more than a student; he is a varsity basketball player and recently won Mr. Crossroads for the 2023-24 school year. He serves as Treasurer of the Tallahassee Kappa League and participates in the FSU Upward Bound program. He also has spent several hours volunteering in his community and serving others during Thanksgiving drives, the Annual Soul Santa Christmas Event, and Farm Share. Beau Rayln intends to become a Federal Prosecutor. He is being escorted by Attendant Ja’Nyda Maynor. Beau Rayln’s guiding quote is by Rory Vaden, “Success is not owned, it is rented—and that rent is due every day.”

MEET THE 2024 TALLAHASSEE (FL) CHAPTER OF THE LINKS, INCORPORATED BEAUX

Beau Marvin Eugene Green III, affectionately known as Tre’, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Eugene Green Jr. and Cecka Green and the brother to two siblings. He attends New Mt. Zion AME Church, where he participates in the Media Ministry. A senior at Florida State University Schools, he has a cumulative GPA of 3.2. Beau Marvin plans to attend his parents’ alma mater, Florida A&M University, as a computer information systems major. While in school, Beau Marvin is more than a student. He is one of two seniors on the Varsity Baseball Team, where he spends most of his time. Additionally, he has been an avid golfer since the age of 3. Beau Marvin is a member of the Omega Lamplighters, where he was in the inaugural class of Junior Lamplighters before being inducted into the original organization. He is also a member of the Senior Teen Group of the Tallahassee Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Incorporated. Beau Marvin intends to become a video game developer. He is being escorted by Attendant Amaya Addison. Beau Marvin’s guiding quote is, “You may not like video games, but what I learned from them is this—no enemies in front of you means that you are going the wrong way.” –Anonymous.

Beau Trevor King, affectionately known as ‘Trev,’ is the son of Mrs. Adrienne Crawford and Mr. Terrell King. He attends St. Peter Primitive Baptist Church, where he is an active member of the church’s Youth Programs. A senior at Leon High School with a cumulative GPA of 3.7, Beau Trevor will attend Florida A&M University as a Business Administration major. While in school, Beau Trevor is more than a student. He is a member of the Black Student Union, a 4-year member of Leon’s football team, and a 4-year track & field athlete. Beau Trevor has also spent several hours volunteering in his community and serving others as a member of the Distinguished Young Gentlemen (DYG), the National Achievers Society (NAS), and as a member of the Youth City Advisory Council (YCAC). Beau Trevor intends to become an entrepreneur. He is being escorted by Attendant Kaia Randolph. Beau Trevor’s guiding scripture is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Aaron Tre MOORE

Beau Aaron Tre’ Moore, affectionately known as A-Rod, is the son of Ms. Theresa Moore and Mr. Al Chester. He attends New Mount Zion AME Church, where he serves as a Junior Steward on the Steward Board, as a Junior Superintendent of Bible Discovery Hour, as a Class Leader for the Youth, and as a drummer for the Music Ministry. A senior at Crossroad Academy Charter School and dual enrolled at Tallahassee Community College with a high school cumulative GPA of 3.9, Beau Aaron will attend the University of Central Florida as a Kinesiology major. While in school, Beau Aaron is more than a student. He is a student-athlete and on the Principal’s Honors Roll List. Beau Aaron has also spent several hours volunteering in his community and serving others as a member of the Tallahassee Kappa League and the Sons of Allen. Beau Aaron is still considering a multitude of options for his professional future. He is being escorted by Attendant Aniyah Lewis. Beau Aaron’s guiding scripture is Ephesians 3:20-21: “

Ayden Joaquin PALUCHA

Beau Ayden Joaquin Palucha is the son of the late Dr. Kenneth Fowler Jr. and Mrs. Rhonda Fowler and brother to one sibling. He attends Family Worship and Praise Center. A senior at Florida State University School and dual enrolled at Tallahassee Community College with a cumulative GPA of 3.9, Beau Ayden will attend Morehouse College as a Mechanical Engineer major. While in school, Beau Ayden is more than a student. He is Vice President of the Kappa Instructional Leadership League, a Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH) Summer Teen Volunteer, a Messenger in the Florida House of Representatives, a Historian of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), a member of Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society and participates in track and field. He also has spent several hours volunteering in his community and serving others. Beau Ayden intends to become a Patent Engineer and Designer. He is being escorted by Attendant Madeleine Byrd. Beau Ayden’s guiding scripture is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Kaleb Alexander PAUL

Beau Kaleb Alexander Paul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Karwynn and Livetra Paul and brother to one sibling. He attends Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, serving on the Youth Usher Board and participating in Young People’s Division and Sunday School. A senior at Chiles High School and dual enrolled at Tallahassee Community College with a cumulative GPA of 4.13, Beau Kaleb will attend Florida A&M University as a Biology/PreMed major. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the Dance Marathon, and the Pre-Med Club and has served on the Black History Committee. He is a member of and participating in the National Achiever’s Society, PE-STEM Program at Florida A&M University, and the Tallahassee Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Incorporated. Beau Kaleb intends to become a Surgeon. He is being escorted by Attendant Camille Friall. Beau Kaleb’s guiding scripture is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jourdan ROBINSON

Beau Jourdan Robinson, affectionately known as Jojo, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kim and Kayola Robinson and brother to three siblings. A senior at FAMU DRS and dual enrolled at Florida A&M University with a cumulative GPA of 3.9, Beau Jourdan will attend Florida A&M University as an Electronics Engineering Technology major. While in school, Beau Jourdan is more than a student. He is the SGA Secretary, a Royal Court Escort, and founder of the “The Repost” a school newspaper, and a member of both the football and basketball teams. He is also aware of his community and civic responsibilities by joining the Brothers Helping Brothers Fraternity, volunteering for the uniform exchange program, and delivering food to senior citizens. Beau Jourdan intends to form his own Engineering School. He is being escorted by Attendant Dream Hogan. Beau Jourdan’s guiding quote is by Harold Winston: “Never accept the world as it appears to be; dare to see it for what it could be.”
