SELF ASSESSMENT

Dear Beth, At the beginning o the semester I was a little skeptical on whether or not I would pass Rhetoric and Composition II. Writing has never been my strongest subject and has always intimidated me. Throughout the course of the semester I learned how to approach writing in a new, easier, and less stressful way.

At the very beginning we broke down the difference between evaluative arguments and ethical arguments. This distinction has helped me to analyze different sources during the semester. Learning different research techniques helped tremendously when writing the research paper that was assigned for the class. This class introduced me to different ways of presenting a topic or idea, one way being through multimodal modes. I found this topic very interesting and helpful.

Everything in this class will be very beneficial to me as I continue through college as well as for my future job. I have been taught writing is not as horrible as it seem. It can even be a little fun and entertaining sometimes. Sincerely, Issue 27 | 234
