2013 Brand Guide
1
Pickersgill fabric company was started based upon the inspiring figure, Mary Pickersgill. She was a business women and humanitarian, before women were involved in business. She sewed flags of all types for the army in order to support her family after her husband died. The American Flag she sewed, by bringing different pieces together, inspired Francis Scott key to write our national anthem and has become an iconic part of America’s national identity. Company Motto Similar to CoCo Channel we believe that “[patterns are] not something that exists in [fabrics] only. [Patterns] are in the sky, in the street, [they] have to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
