This visual direction is focuses on being fun, friendly, playful, and inviting. Since Ceres is trying to make their topics known to the entire world, being inviting and friendly is important in their design. The use of organic lines and text with rounded feet creates a playful feel that makes the viewer feel comfortable and relaxed. This font is paired with Avenir, which is a modern, geometric sansserif that creates a nice contrast. The shades of green and blue references nature which goes back to the principles of the company,

Since Ceres needs to market themselves to professional investors and large companies, taking a professional and corporate stance in the design may be necessary. The modern serif font creates a sense of professionalism and respect. The muted colors emphasize the professionalism. Purple is representative of knowledge, green references sustainability, blue is truth, and the peach instills confidence. This direction is convoying that the company is knowledgeable and respectable.
