Design Practice: The Plaza at Harvard University, Cambridge Massachusetts. Underutilized space on Harvard’s campus was transformed into an open design that can easily be transformed and used for multi-functionality. The space was created to promote organized and spontaneous activities between students and the community and create comfort and ease for users. The mixture of formal and informal seating along with artificial lighting techniques also contributes to the flexible usage of the space.
