Ski instructor for children

Sandrine has been an independent, statequalified ski instructor for many years in Megève and specialises in teaching children aged 3 to 13 years, from beginner skiers to level 3*. She teaches in French, English and Spanish in a fun, progressive way during individual lessons or small groups of 2 to 3 children of the same level, depending on demand. Skiing tor children and teenagers Children from 5 to 12 years old. From the Ourson to the Étoile d’Or, our passionate ski instructors are there to support your child as they progress, while also teaching them the basics of safety on the slopes. They can learn while having fun with other children in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Competition courses The beginners’ competition course has been specially designed for children aged 7 years and over so they can continue progressing on the slopes beyond the Etoile d’Or, gain independence and pass their first signposts. From the age of 10 and for budding competitors, the ESF offers full or half-day competition courses. Your child can then train with friends on the different ESF stages in the area and challenge the clock!

The Teenager Team What to do with your teenager? The ESF has the solution: the Teenager team is for young people aged 13 to 16. Accompanied by our instructors, your teenager will benefit from technical advice in the friendly environment of a dynamic group in order to progress. And for the more adventurous who have already reached the Etoile d’Or level, the FREESTYLE TEENAGER TEAM will be the perfect option to discover new thrills in a safe way. With this group, your teenager will also be able to enjoy our Airbag at Rochebrune! Snowboarding courses From 8 years old. Want to learn a new snow sport? Why not... The ESF has snowboarding courses for children and teenagers from 8 years old. Our specialist instructors help them discover this sport: from getting to know the snow to perfecting it, while enjoying unique and fun thrills!

17/12/2022 to 16/04/2023, every day, booking required. Meet at the start of La Caboche, Le Mont d'Arbois, Le Jaillet, La Princesse or Rochebrune. Prices: from €53 for weekends and €172 per child for the week. Children must have a ski pass.

Ski lessons

Snow bears (3-4 years old) Ski lessons to allow your little ones to discover skiing at a relaxed pace. Teaching starts in the snow garden, a specially managed space designed to help them build confidence. Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 children per instructor for a personalised and positive approach to skiing.

Children (5-12 years old) Patient and attentive instructors provide these future champions with lessons organised according to age and ability. Group are limited to 6 children per instructor for a personalised experience in the best learning environment. Lessons are taught through games and fun activities so that kids learn whilst enjoying themselves.

Pro-Rider (from 12 years old) Designed for teenage skiers looking for excitement. Come and take on the bumps, snowpark, slalom gates and off-piste with a fun, friendly and qualified instructor.

Snowboard Group Lessons Snowboarding starts from the age of 8 years old. Groups are limited to 6 persons for a personalised and fun learning experience.

Children’s lessons are available Monday to Friday throughout the season.

Prices: group lessons start from €269€ for 5 day Monday to Friday.

Activities: Freestyle session We introduce you to the basics of freestyle by teaching you the art of jumping and landing with the help of a kicker. Bronze Ski level and above required. 3-hour course From €251 (1 to 2 people) Snowshoeing Explore the mountain in a whole new light through a guided snowshoe hike with the family. Morning or afternoon sessions available to participants over 6 years old, from €175 for a 2 hours 30 minutes walk (1 to 6 people).

- Lunch Club: For even more fun, why not book them into Oxygene’s lunch club? Recharge their batteries with a hot meal and let them socialise with their new friends.

- At the end of their week of lessons, all children receive a medal and booklet, signed by their instructor, to mark their level of achievement. A medal ceremony is organised with all children and their parents every Friday during the school holidays.
