INTERNSHIP PROJECT
ZOUK Project Brief
To create a range of products to be positioned and packaged as a product of Zouk but targeting an entire specific target group. The target group is young and adventurous, they live their profession, they are high spirited and open minded. A connoisseur of cross- cultural experience, she/ he is creative as well as a risk taker. He/she is well educated and a risk taker
TRAVELER
Exploration Define Main Shape The traveler is passionate about travel and incorporates it as a part of their life. He/she is someone whose personal style and taste is a result of an exposure to the rich cultures of the world developed through travel, interaction and awareness of other cultures and reflected not just in their fashion choices but in lifestyle as well. A traveler is a citizen of the world.
Materials Used The material used to make the bag are Jute and very good quality rexine. Jute is 100% bio-degradable and thus environment- friendly. It is available in India at competitive prices. Jute fibers are always known as strong, coarse, environment friendly, and organic.
Inspiration- Different methods of carrying and compartmentalisation. With the traveler in mind, I thought the idea of carrying a bag in different ways would be something intresting to explore, bags where compartmentalization and different carrying styles becomes a part of the bag collection. Another possibility of the compartmentalization in such a way so that the wole form of the bag could remain the same but the compartments or the pockets could be used in a different manner became a challenging opportunity.
TRAVEL POUCH
Problem - Carrying small things like cosmetics, toiletries, electronics while travelling as these small products tend to get lost in the large amount of luggauge that we carry thus arises a need to design a travel kit that would carry all the necessary items. Solution- This travel kit was designed keeping the problems in mind different pockets and compartments were added for the functionality. A mesh pocket on top helps to keep the wet things like toothbrushes so they can dry out easily. The kit is very easy to carry and takes up very less space.

The Silk Route to Fashion The collection Silk Route to Fashion is a step closer towards nature and organic fashion. It is based on the theme naturalism. The elements used in this collection are purely handmade. The fabric used in this collection is hand block printed mashroo silk.

Comfort Footwear
Snug-ons are comfort footwear designed to provide you comfort. Its a blend of modern and traditional craftsmanship which provides you with a unique identity as well as giving you the most comfortable feel. Snug ons are made using hand block printed cotton fabric which makes them very light in weight and easy to wash and carry.
The banjara clutch is made using the traditional Banjara embroidery and mirror work combined with black rexine to give it a more appealing look. the product is designed keeping in mind the need for a simple design so as to help the craftsmen easily produce the product and benefit from it for the uplift ment of the craft
