SINCE 1862
Letter to employees from Julius Meinl III on the 100th anniversary of the Julius Meinl Group (1862 – 1962)
“No one can pride himself to do it without people” – Rene Francois Armand SullyPrudhomme One hundred years leave their mark, people move on, their routines, values, hopes and goals change. During this long time, an economic entity creates its environment; it grows and maintains its reason for being and does so only with the help of enduring human activities. In this anniversary year of my company with its many branches, I commemorate those who helped grow the company in the past, as well as those in the present who competently give their know-how and efforts in the service of their individual careers. Our unwritten principles always have been and remain: service to customers, the free choice of employment, independence from political influence and most important, practicing honest and fair business principles. Maintaining the dogma of quality during these one hundred years, as well as guiding thousands of employees in our group in understanding and fulfilling these values remains our mission. With deep respect, I thank my co-workers, whatever their job. My many customers, I greet with thanks and best wishes. Julius Meinl III
