Reported speech Objective: Students will be able to write a letter using reported speech. Description: Students will write a “Dear abby” letter asking for advice on a problem, they should use reported speech in it. Later, students will exchange letter and reply to a classmate’s problem and after that, give it back to its owner.

My parents said we were moving to another country but I don't want to move. The answer: Don't be afraid to tell your parents how you feel. The result: Dear abby told me not to be afraid to tell my parents how I feel.
Reported Speech Objective: Students will be able to complete the sentence and change the form of it in the correct way.
