Draw the basic path Highlight of the main points These lines create the paths. This is a significant point and the question is implemented which guides the player to the next point, until he arrives to the end. On this significant points, more than one question is implemented, so the game can be played more than once and the player has to choose his course.

6. 7.

Between the lines, some colored stations are drawn, so the players can think their next move. Heading towards the end, (when you have followed the lines and arrived in the end) you are the winner and find the hidden treasure. But you have to be careful! There is not only one winner and the treasure is not the same for everyone!!!

The colored stations:

This bench was designed underground because the concept is to keep the monuments unobstructed unalterable from any constructions. The bench Press was designed to be underground. In order for someone to sit they will have to lift it and when leaving they will have to press it back into the ground.

9

The artificial lake was designed in order to include in the area the natural element of water and to give a relaxing aesthesia.

The bench Inversion is designed underground because of the Roman conservatoire. Our aim was to create constructions which don’t deteriorate the aspect of the monuments.

The construction, where the canteen is created has two purposes. It is the starting point of the game is, so we want to give the visitors the chance to get a snack or beverage before they go on their path. In audition, the audience of the performances can use the canteen during intermissions.

10

You can sit: here The bench TWIST was designed to follow the lines which the path creates. The benches are based on a continuing line which has a radius figure.

And here

The litter bin BASKET placed on the lines.

The concept was that the lines are in fact narrow ribbon bands which the visitor can actually pick up from the ground.

The lighting curve is designed to give the choice to every citizen to light up the town with his own way.

The faces of the buildings in the streets of the area was abandoned, unexploited and without any consistency. In order to maintain the historical evolution of the buildings it is essential to keep the colors in their original states. The elevation with the lines has contributed to the unification of the area. Especially the street Pantokratoros which is the most important axis and the basic course in the game.

14 The master plan is based on the lines and the area. As you can see all the land used is drawn between them.

The final master plan

The design of the master plan is based on the game and everything is drawn on the lines. The basic aim is the unification of the monuments in the area and to make the venue a center of attraction. For that reason the lines were created and the game played. The fun and the brain training is a good reason to visit this place and that too, represents the definition of the game.

The old facade The aim of this project had as a result to remodel the old preservable building into a wonderful mansion and to bring back its gorgeous vintage character. Finally, we created a building with up-to-date data which kept safe the vintage character of the area in which it was built.

The old deserted preservable building with the badly shaped damaged garage on the ground floor. The aim is to bring back the old stately house with a special traditional shop on the ground floor.

The restoration and renovation of the building has as a result a clear intersection plan and to create two completely independent floor-spaces.

23

From the images it is clear that the building is completely deserted.

TOWN HALL

February 2009 Design of Public Buildings Design of a town hall

The town hall is designed with two ‘‘Γ’’. The building has three levels and every level has its own garden. That was created because the town has very serious problems due to the lack of greenery. With this design we try to invigorate that lack. And by putting two ‘’Γ’’ one over the other, we want to denote that concrete is encroaching nature.

We were required to use arcade in two opposite sides of the plot. It is in the regulations because the two most important streets of Patras pass through these two sides of the plot.

27

The plan The building is separated in 3 levels. The installation of these levels was done hierarchically from the lower to the highest.

Space for bench … the final space for the bench was designed by the unification of the two ideas.

Started with one unity bench but…

… the second idea was to put many clears with a supportive footstool in one place, so…

The archway The idea started from the trees in our try to help in the towns development.

So at the end the column took that figure and‌

The concept of the building has that shape

The design of an apartment block is based on the shape ‘Γ’ because it is an easy shaping for the plan. The ‘Γ’ born from the square, actually has the two sides to it. In the effort to create the best possible design and internal layout we used two ‘Γ’ so one square. Finally, as we played with these two volumes, we created this apartment block.

34

35

We had orders from the ‘clients’ to build an apartment block with many apartments and the biggest had to be up to 100m2 including a space for professional use. Finally, we drew 12 apartments, 2 of which were maisonettes, with its own garden on the 2nd floor. All the floors consisted of two apartments or more except of the 4th which has only one apartment. On the ground floor a cafeteria is situated and in the volume of the small ‘Γ’. That was created because we wanted to separate the usage of these two volumes.

The square is always the best shape for an internal layout. We based the design of this project on the square and changed it’s form. Finally, we created 2 reversal ‘Γ’ one over the other and from the plan it seams like one square. Actually each ‘Γ’ is one different floor with different uses and together created a complex set. On the same project we were ordered to creates a store 25m2 and we chose to place it on the side of the plot where the sidewalk is.
