The design of EMSD’s 11,850 sqft offices in Hong Kong is firmly rooted in the concept of Biophilic environments, which seeks to establish a direct and harmonious connection between individuals and nature within the spaces they inhabit.

Extensive research demonstrates that biophilic designs can significantly reduce stress levels, enhance positive emotional well-being, and improve concentration and recovery rates. These benefits manifest through physiological changes like lowered blood pressure and heart rate, reduced attentional fatigue, and improved mental engagement and overall happiness.

Additionally, the project’s design strategies prioritize collaboration by creating a variety of workspaces that facilitate connections among employees.
