E XFO L IAT E Your skin regenerates itself approximately every 27 days. Exfoliating helps this process by eliminating dead skin cells and allowing new cells to flourish, sooner. It also promotes the absorption of nourishing serums and moisturizers designed to prolong a youthful appearance. “Exfoliate” comes from the Latin word “exfoliare,” which means to “strip off the leaves.” Exfoliation leaves your skin feeling smoother, and appearing younger. Satin Mint Facial Scrub has added ingredients to help rejuvenate and nourish the skin without harsh or drying abrasives.

Ingredients 1 Tbsp Frankincense Resin (powdered) ½ to 1 dropper facial serum Directions Crush resin until medium or fine granules are achieved. Add ½ to 1 dropper serum based on your preference. Apply to neck, face, and back of hands using light circular motions to exfoliate and cleanse pores. Apply a warm wet cloth to face and let sit for one to three minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with soft towel. Immediately follow with toner. Remember, your skin is delicate, so handle with care! Be gentle when you exfoliate and treat your skin as though it is a fine silk.

TO N E The ideal pH level of your skin is about 5.5. After you cleanse or exfoliate, your face may take up to one hour to restore its natural pH. A good toner will immediately restore your pH balance, remove all remaining impurities, shrink pores to their original size, and prepare your skin for moisturizers.

RE STO R E After you have properly cleansed, exfoliated and toned, your skin is officially ready to absorb any vital nutrients and minerals you apply. Working in order from lightest viscosity to the thickest at this point will be key in your routine to achieve the results you are seeking for radiant and healthy-looking skin. Serums quickly moisturize and rejuvenate your face with faster, more visible results. Their active ingredients typically have a low molecular weight, which allows the nutrients to penetrate deep within the layers of your skin where regular moisturizers cannot penetrate. For this reason, it is more advantageous to use a serum before using a moisturizing cream. The Chinese were the first to cultivate orchids and discover their healing properties.

MO IST UR IZ E A moisturizer protects and hydrates your skin, which is essential no matter what your age or skin type. Using a moisturizer both morning and night, as well as when your face feels dry, will help keep your skin healthy and radiant. It also facilitates make-up application. Young Living has several high-quality moisturizers that are infused with nourishing essential oils to support your skin’s specific needs. Along with using moisturizer, drink the gorgeous gallon! Proper hydration at a cellular level is key to helping your skin appear healthy and supple. Supplements like Sulfurzyme create an ideal foundation for hydration at a cellular level and provides the proper building blocks for your body to restore independent collagen production.

M AS Q UE A facial masque is one of the easiest ways to achieve the appearance of cared for, hydrated skin. hydrates the skin A facial masque moisturizes and hydrates dry skin types. If using a wet masque, the water from the mask penetrates deep into the skin epidermis to soften the skin and enhance its elasticity. When the skin is hydrated and well moisturized, it becomes easy to apply proper makeup. Also, it gives a more youthful appearance to the skin. reduces the appearance of fine lines The intense hydration of a crème masque can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. even skin tone Face masks are also designed to diminish hyper-pigmentation and give you a more even skin tone and texture. It also promotes sweat gland secretion to increase the skin’s oxygen content. firmer skin The appearance of loose skin can easily be cared for with regular use of a facial masque to enhance collagen production, and provide anti-oxidant support which will gradually result in firmer, tighter, youthful looking skin.

YOU ?

The areas of concern on your face could very well be telling a story of something out of balance on a cellular level. Whether it's a dry spot, an irritation, itch or breakout...next time you notice something pop up, listen up. Once you identify the area of concern, retreat to your reference guides and try to discover which essential oils or supplements can help your body stay in balance and far above the wellness line. digestion Enzymes are key to playing a role in proper digestive health along with getting enough fiber and water in your diet. WATER: The long running suggestion is half your body weight in ounces plus double any amount of caffeine or alcohol you consume. Or, you can try the gorgeous gallon and keep it simple. FIBER: On target for women is 34-36g x day. For men, it is 34-40g. Balance complete is an excellent source to add a few more grams to your intake. ENZYMES: A great broad spectrum start is Essentialyzme 4 (if your gallbladder is removed, opt for Essentialzyme) kidneys Kidneys love hydration so make sure your water intake is up to par (see above) K&B tincture is a great supplement to keep your kidney health functioning strong. c a r d i o v a s c u l a r| Love your heart with proper nutrition and a diet high in essential fatty acids. To add additional supplementation to your diet, look at Omega Gize. CardioGize, MindWise, NingXia Red are also great additions to your routine to keep your heart health strong. y e a s t & PH Enzymes with higher levels of amylase and cellulase help to digest excess yeast from the body by properly assimilating the nutrients in our diet. Ideally, look at Young Living Allerzyme as an enzyme to fit this match. Life 9 will help keep the bacteria balance an even playing field. Ladies, if vaginal yeast is your battle, remember that it takes 3lbs of chemicals to product 1lb of cotton and many of those chemicals are known to wreak havoc on the body's ability to maintain proper pH balance. Look at chemical free alternatives such as organic cotton or a menstrual cup. hormones & stomach If your breakouts follow an all too familiar 28 day cycle, look at ways to keep your hormone health strong every day. Progessence Plus Serum is a great start for many women as a daily step along with proper supplements ideal for your body (look at having a zyto screening done to establish a supplement routine outside of the standard core)

liver & gallbladder Emotions run deep. Try diffusing Geranium and Bergamot at night to help let go of hate, anger and resentment...emotions that according to Chinese medicine are housed in (you guessed it) the liver and gallbladder. Other essential oils for these emotions: Rose, Joy, Release. lymphatic The key here is to keep an already healthy and strong lymphatic system healthy and strong. Make sure you have a well-established daily supplement routine that includes keeping your defenses up. Look at Sulfurzyme & NingXia Red as key players and if you are feeling that your system is a bit over stressed...follow a few days with Inner Defense in the morning.
