Homeland Gardens and the Middlebury Parks Department for the bright, beautiful, colorful flower baskets on the light poles and in town and the red, white and purple planted flowers and baskets in Memorial Park honoring deceased veterans. Rumor has it that prayers are said when these flowers are started as seeds and they are continued to be covered in prayer as they are planted and cared for all summer long.
