Hello! Welcome to my Mellor Ware catalogue Spring/Summer 2012! The birds are singing, daffodils are smiling and we’ve finally waved goodbye to frosty mornings! It’s my favourite time of year, and means I can start planning tea parties, picnics & afternoon teas aplenty! I hope that within these pages you will find inspiration through the marriage of my illustrations and quality homewares, created here in England! Best wishes love and kisses!
Mellor Ware is designed by Lianne Mellor in her Sheffield based studio, she strives to produce products that are not only beautiful, but are also functional for everyday use. Her influences are deeply rooted in the quintessentially British past times of afternoon teas, garden parties and quirky dances. Mellor Ware is inspired by the idea that when our backs are turned, foxes, birds, squirrels and hedgehogs come out in force to act out these very English activities. The simplicity of Lianne’s watercolours allows the viewer to create their own narrative for the characters in a collection that is both timeless and contemporary.
Lianne Mellor’s watercolour illustrations are derived from observations of British wildlife mixed with a generous helping of imagination. As the viewer, you are encouraged to create your own narrative for the pieces, building on the theme of British wildlife having a teaparty!

The Mellor Ware tea party set is a contemporary alternative to Granny’s ‘best’ teaware. It’s a modern day heirloom to be collected, treasured but most importantly used every day! The concept of the range is that you can collect multiple items of chinaware, adding different characters to your own unique tea party set. Each set will then tell your own individual tale of British wildlife having a tea party! All items are decorated by hand in Stoke, using decals of Lianne Mellor’s watercolour illustrations. The hand finished nature of the pieces means that there may be slight differences between the individual items, this adds to the uniqueness and charm of the collection. No two pieces will ever be identical!

Mellor Ware tea towels are made from 100% cotton and are digitally printed in Manchester! They measure approximately 50cm x 72cm and have a hanging loop for added handiness. The tea towels are machine washable!

Ordering Mellor Ware is really easy! If you are a stockist of Mellor Ware simply fill in an order form, and we will do the rest! If you don’t have an order form, please call or email for one and we will be more than happy to send one out to you, or fill it in for you over the phone! If you are a Mellor Ware customer simply quote the product reference code and quantity required e.g. TC-BEC x 2 In both cases postage is calculated depending on the best value for the customer, please contact us for a quote. Payment can be arranged either by bank transfer or cheque and is required Pro Forma on all orders.

Although we aim to fulfil all wholesale orders within 6-10 weeks, we cannot guarantee this and ask that you contact us before placing an order for current delivery times.
