NEW LIFE TEMPLE CHURCH!
MARCH/APRIL 2013
GOT LIFE Celebration of History 2013 Celebration of Contributions of Blacks in American History
Don’t Forget It! It doesn’t seem like the Daniel Fast was nearly two months ago. But here we are in the month of March...already! During that time of consecration many of us made declarations and affirmations to God concerning our faithfulness to Him this year. And some of us have already forgotten those things we fasted and prayed over.
This year’s Celebration of Blacks In American History included special presentations of those who have made major contributions to the early Pentecostal movement and the Apostolic church, as well as a stellar closeout performance by
Children With Purpose Ministry, under the direction of Sis. Lakethia Dalcoe. This celebration also kicked off the year long celebration of Americans of various ethnic backgrounds who have made contributions to America.
SPECIAL THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT Bishop Brenda K Perry, the senior pastor of New Life Temple Church, would like to give a very special thank you to all those who supported New Life Temple in this year’s Aramak Rodeo Fundraiser. Your commitment to support your church has not gone unnoticed or absent of appreciation.
!
However, we can’t forget, we can’t let go, and we can’t become slack. It’s time to rehearse to ourselves those things that we prayed about, that we declared and what we know is must come to pass. -Pastor Mel
There are too many names to mention here, but each of you were a valuable entity to the success of this year’s fundraiser. Sis. Jackie Bazile, thank you for motivating the members, pulling the team together and working each night. Min. Isaac Bazile, thank you for supporting your wife as she served NLTC in this endeavor.

When we do not obey God’s commands, or request in doing something that is right, other things develop that draw us farther away from God and deeper into doing our thing, which is sin. We do not need to name off one sin after another. Anything that is not righteous and holy unto God becomes sin.

The Apostle Paul used many illustrations or analogies to help bring the Believers into clarity about the spiritual things of God so one may fulfill God’s purpose in their life. I underlined the words “the sin” in that there may be some dispute, or disagreement about what I’m saying about “the sin”. MARCH/APRIL 2013 B. JOY AND PEACE 1. Expectation has been defined as those strong desires that God has placed in our heart to be fulfilled. We have great anticipation and confidence in obtaining what is hoped for. Joy and peace relates to our life of expectations as stated in Romans 15:13. 2. Joy relates to the delights of anticipation in seeing one's hope fulfilled. Joy is the emotion of expectation. Joy is the emotion evoked by the prospect of possessing what one desires, and has high expectations for receiving. All people who have expectations experience the joy of beginning, the joy of the journey and the joy of fulfillment. Peace relates to a life of expectation as we have great assurance that God will fulfill all our hopes and dreams in spite of unseen obstacles, setbacks, disappointments and storms of life. It is peace in the middle of the crisis, peace that calms the spirit and gives strength to the soul. Do you have that peace, that expectation, that Joy? If you don’t, or you know someone who doesn’t, tell them “You can have it if you surrender all to Him”.

New Life Temple Ministries Words from our ministries
OUTREACH ASK: ARE YOU BEARING FRUIT? Elder Edna Johnson, Outreach Director
Christians? In my opinion, nonChristians act more consistently with their value system than we do. It’s difficult for a nonChristian to be a hypocrite, because they tend to live out what they believe. They are better at living out their values than you or me. Jesus never blamed pagans for acting like pagans. But He did speak out against religious people for acting hypocritically.

I recently read an article by Cary Neiuwhof, who serves as Lead Pastor at Connexus Community Church north of Toronto Canada. His initial statement was, “It bothers me that Christians continually express shock, disapproval and judgment at the way nonChristians live”. As I thought about this, I recalled statements I have made, as I am sure you have too, that certainly paralleled what he said.

We believe in one eternal God; infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose, as well as omniscient and omnipresent. We believe this one true God, who revealed Himself as Father in Creation, as Son in redemption, and as Holy Ghost in regeneration. We believe that - in Him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell. We believe in the death, burial and resurrection.

We believe in being born again of waterby immersion in the name of the Lord “Jesus” Christ for the remission of sins, and in Spirit baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We believe in divine healing, communion and foot washing. We believe in presenting our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. We believe in expressions of praise with lifted hands, hand clapping, playing of musical instruments, voice of praise and dancing.
