Their lives are not transformed, just relabeled. They wear the tag “Hello: I’m a Christian”, but their lifestyle says otherwise. How many labeled christians go to church and sing pretty songs labeled worship songs, but have no idea what either Christian or worship means? Here is a fact that most church goers will hate me for, and that’s ok, worship is not something you sing about. It’s what you must do if you are a Christian. And you can’t do it if you are not DOING IT. Another way to put it is like this, you

IN OTHER WORDS Many have called the year of 2011 the year of chaos, according to the biblical number system. And for many it has seemed that way. In fact, any year can be a chaotic year when we are not following God.

As God begins to show you, repent for taking control of your life and return control to Him. Then allow Him to begin to show you what He desires from you. It won’t be an overnight fix, but soon in time you will begin to feel that peace of knowing God is directing your life. Don’t run from the chaos, just give it away...give it to God. After all we know that God is a genius when it comes to knowing what to do with chaos. God made a whole universe out of chaos. After He finished, He “called” it all good. Paul said in Romans 1:16,“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” The book of Romans is great for new believers to help in establishing their new faith in God. When one comes into the body of Christ we must lead them to read the most important book in the world. For one to be affective and successful in their new life they must get to know the author and finisher of their new faith, who is Christ Jesus.

The Awesomeness of Change Mark 2, 5:21-24, 35-42 By Minister Isaac Bazile
We have all experienced change in our lives, and like most people change is not always good to us, but it is necessary. Often times we realize that we need change in our lives whether it is spiritually, naturally, vocationally, or geographically, change is a challenge. Hey.. it's not easy to change .. is it? Whether it is changing your way of living, or your way of thinking … change is hard.. but not impossible. Where do we go when change is needed?
Learn this today: YOU CAN CHANGE! You really can! Now let me tell you what won't bring lasting change: FACTS won't bring lasting Many come to Jesus for various change. reason they feel that any change will only be temporary. Well, if those three are not change factors … what brings about lasting change? It's time for you to set aside the excuse that PEOPLE cannot change, or that YOU cannot change because you can change. I have some wonderful news to tell you: Jesus Christ is the ultimate change factor! Let me say it another way: Jesus Christ is in the life-changing business! Bringing change is His specialty! Lasting change! Healthy change! Holy change! Helpful change! I'm talking about the kind of change that restores lives. The kind of change that restores marriages. The kind of change that will help you raise young champions for God. The kind of change that turns husbands into the spiritual leader of their home. The kind of change that turns a stingy person into a giving person. It's time for you to PUT OFF those things that are robbing you of God's best and then PUT ON those things that will bring on God's best. It is time you stop using those excuses of yours: "Well, nobody is perfect ". "I'm only human". "I'll never be any different, nothing can be done about it." "You can't teach an old dog new tricks". Do you know why you use those excuses that keep you in the same rut? It's because you are "learned in evil." You've been practicing evil a long time and practice does make perfect! The more you practice, the more you experience the “Awesomeness of Change”. Sept/Oct

For about three weeks or so, right before Wednesdays’ Pastoral bible study, we are given several trivia questions to test our bible knowledge. Cursing is apart of their everyday speech. They say things like “God understands my sexual urges so it’s ok for me to engage in sex outside of marriage.” Hitting the clubs is apart of their weekly entertainment to help them “wind” down from a stressful week....and the list can go on. But the sinner is left confused by this. How is their life any different from the person who does the exact same thing as them and then walk into a church on the weekend wearing their put on take off Christian label? Here is another tragic fact. We will get upset with the sinner who says negative things about the church based upon what they have seen and experienced, but embrace the hypocrite, the false advertisement of a life of worship, who has given the sinner the reason to feel and believe what he does.

But we won’t allow the mistakes to become our habit, our way of living for which we make excuses for. God has given us an opportunity to represent Him. It’s the greatest opportunity in the world. I think everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE to travel! And I love traveling out of the country even more! One of the things I so enjoy about traveling out of the country is that I never know what can happen. Every trip is bound to be an adventure, whether good or a bit on the scary side. In the end it’s always a great story to tell others. And boy, do I enjoy telling stories that make people’s hair rise on their back and then send them into fits of laughter. I’ve been amazed at how some of my tragic stories can ignite uncontrollable laughter in people. But I’ve seen it happen. Before long I’m laughing along with them, trying to figure out when did this story turn funny! Even now I’m laughing at some of the reactions of others to stories I’ve told them from my travels. I can’t help but wonder if my sister’s children will one day find my traveller’s tails funny. Who knows they may accuse me of making them up, because some of them can sound unbelievable. Recently I took a holiday with my mum to South Africa. Our trip took us to four cities in the space of 14 days. We moved about via bus and plane, hopping from Jo’burg (Johannesburg) and on to cities along the Indian Ocean, and down to the southern part of the cape. These kinds of travel would normally bring about some sort of adventurous happening. So patiently one waits. Actually, I plan a trip knowing that at some point something has to happen. If the winds are too still then I become very concerned that at any moment a sudden flood can over take me.

As we moved from Jo’burg to Durban, and on to Port Elizabeth the winds remained calm. As I lifted my wet finger in the air, the winds were still. I knew that either a great storm was brewing or I will miss out on a great tale. Something was not right! But then maybe it was because my mum was with me that God was going to grant us the peace and quite that would suit her, but send me home with nothing to laugh about in my sleep. Well, there was an almost moment when our bus from Jo’burg slammed hard on the breaks to avoid crashing into a car, resulting in a young man flying forward and falling on the floor. Watching the people trying to catch him and keep him from hitting the ground while they tried to keep themselves from being whiplashed into the seat in front of them was an almost moment. Good thing his muslim dress was long because that could have really been an hilarious almost moment. But God did not grant me that humorous tale. So with the wind becoming more and more calm as we traveled, I waited for the hurricane. Finally, we arrived in Cape Town. The day of our arrival was very nice. We had a nice early morning flight to C.T. from P.E. The sun was shinning bright and the weather was warmer than it had been. We had a wonderful time of fellowship at the airport with several of our friends. I mean we enjoyed a great time of Subway and “catch up” while we took in the newly renovated airport. We arrived at our very lovely hotel with out a scratch. And after we checked in, my mum was warmed by its extremely modern Euro style decor, removing all fears that I had booked us in a horrible hole in the wall in the heart of the hood. Yes in deed, this would be a trip with no events and no tales. All fears aside, the

calm was actually peace given to make our holiday trip a nice and pleasant one. So on the Saturday before we were to leave for home my mum asked to use my computer to check her banking. Sure, I needed to pack my bags before I went downstairs to get my thoughts together for Sunday’s service. Between packing and going back over to the beds to assist her on the computer I heard a voice coming from the heavens, “This is an emergency! Please evacuate the building!’ I stood up and looked around. What sort of prophetic word was I hearing from God. I looked at my mum as I heard the voice again. This time a little louder. She looked at me. Hmm, this is not God speaking to me. On the third, “This is an emergency! Please evacuate the building!” I said to my mum, in my not very calm voice, “Come on let’s get out!” I grabbed my Robin Ruth London messenger bag and stuffed my MacBook , that I had already snatched from my mum. After all it was part of my internal organs. Next, I ran over to the desk and grabbed the other phone and shoved both of them into the bag. “I’d better take the phones in case I need to call Bishop Manuel to come get us.” “Come on, let’s go!” I knew it! The calm was to great! And with 911 around the corner, Cape Town being a hub for terrorist cells, this was it. I would have to make sure my mum was calm, because she wouldn’t know what to do in these cases! Elevator or stairs! We heard voices and laughter coming from the elevator. We looked at each other and decided to head towards the elevator. False Alarm. There was no storm. The wind were really calm, but I guess God decided to humor me. “Ha!ha! God if only they could have seen my face!” 11
