Congratulations, Lou!

Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Year

We would like to congratulate BCC member and University of Richmond sophomore Lou Baker for being named 2021 Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Year! The Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) is a collegiate athletic conference of schools who compete in the NCAA Division I. He was awarded the honor after a panel of the league’s 11 head coaches selected Lou in recognition of his performance during the 2021 season, when he finished in the top 15 in each of the Richmond Spiders’ four tournaments and posted the lowest stroke average by a Spider since 2017. This is a tremendous honor in the A-10 Conference and we could not be anymore proud of Lou! Keep up the great play and we look forward to watching Lou in his two final seasons at Richmond. ◆

The BCC Junior Golf Schools are designed for juniors looking to achieve their goals through advanced instruction this summer.

Three Days: full swing, short game, open topic Week 1: July 6-8; Ages 14-16 Week 2: July 13-15; Ages 12-13 Week 3: July 20-22; Ages 10-11 Week 4: July 27-29; Ages 8-9

Junior Club Championship

Individual medal play competition within divisions. Top four finishers in the (18-hole boy’s and 9-hole girl’s) divisions qualify for the Junior Match Play Championship.

12 & under: $30 per junior | 13 & up: $35 per junior Saturday, July 17
