On game day at Mike Rose Soccer Complex, fans are greeted with one of the most exciting college soccer venues in the NCAA. Many high quality opponents have visited the Lady Tigers and Mike Rose Soccer Complex over the last four seasons. Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, LSU, Miami, Mississippi State and Oklahoma are a few of the many teams that have visited the Bluff City to provide the highest quality of competition.

For the last 10 years, the Memphis men’s and women’s soccer programs have been able to call one of the premier soccer facilities in the country their home. The Mike Rose Soccer Complex (MRSC), a world-class facility featuring a 2,500-plus seat stadium, has facilitated the growth of men’s and women’s soccer at the University of Memphis. Since the move to MRSC in 2001, the men’s and women’s programs have four C-USA conference championships to their name and have recorded a combined 10 seasons with 10 or more wins. The state-of-the-art facility sits on 136.17 acres and houses 16 FIFA dimension fields equipped with Bermuda grass, superior playing surface complete with underground drainage, sprinkler systems and lighted playing fields. Accompanying these fields are fully paved walkways, easily accessible parking, restrooms, covered pavilions, picnic and recreation areas and a three-acre lake. It is a definite asset to both the Tiger and Lady Tiger soccer programs. “The facility has helped us in recruiting some of the better players in the region to our program,” said men’s head coach Richie Grant.

Participant facilities within the main stadium structure include showers and locker rooms, a food court, corporate skybox, full media services, administrative offices and a conference room. “Being able to play at Mike Rose enables our program to compete with anyone facilitywise,” said head women’s coach Brooks Monaghan. “There may be some facilities that are similar or close to Mike Rose, but I honestly don’t feel there are any better. As far as quality and atmosphere, Mike Rose is first class.” Located in southeast Shelby County, just east of the Memphis city limits, the Mike Rose facility has established itself as one of the premier soccer facilities in the Mid-South. In 2003, the MRSC was the host site for the Conference USA Championship and it will be the host site for the C-USA Women’s Championship in 2011. “We feel like Mike Rose is one of the best college soccer facilities in the country.” Grant said. “The quality of the surface makes for entertaining soccer every night.”

The Billy J. Murphy complex, located on Memphis’ Park Avenue Campus, is home to the U of M’s weight room, training facilities and many practice fields. The Lady Tigers use both the turf and grass fields for practice, as well as a smaller indoor turf room during inclement weather. Many taping and treatment stations are open for the use of all Tiger athletes, as well as an inground pool for rehabilitation purposes. TRAI TR AINI AI NING NI NG

The Tiger weight room, which is currently being used by the majority of Memphis athletes, is a 10,500-square foot facility with state-of-the art equipment, including 10 self-contained Olympic platforms and power racks, a plyometric/medicine ball area, a complete dumbbell line (up to 150 lbs in two and a half pound increments) and a variety of hip sleds, gluteham stations and < other supplemental pieces allowing athletes from all teams to perform an unlimited variety of exercises and movements.

Even though the women’s soccer program claimed three-straight C-USA Championships, the success of the student-athletes in the classroom is a tribute to the character of the squad. Winners of three-straight National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Awards, the Lady Tigers and head coach Brooks Monaghan have found academic success to couple with the DR.. The program has had 12 student-athletes honored as CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District IV selections since 2004 and nine C-USA All-Academic Team selections since 2006. In the 2009-10 season, the Lady Tigers posted a program record 3.6 grade-point average with 10 athletes earning a 4.0 GPA.

A key in the Lady Tigers success in recent seasons is the play of the defense and the philosophy that Coach Brooks Monaghan has for his team plays a large role in the defensive success. Memphis senior forward Ashley Berra and senior midfielder Vendula Strnadova were named to the 45-player watch list for the 2010 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA).. Considered the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer, the recipients of the MAC’s Hermann Trophy are selected d by Division I head coaches who are current members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Berra, who was also named C-USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and was a preseason All-C-USA selection, rang up 15 goals and eight assists in 2009, ranking first in the conference e in both goals and points. She collected NSCAA All-American honors, C-USA Offensive Player of the Year and first team All-CCUSA honors in 2009. Strnadova, who joins Berra on the preseason All-C-USA team, had five goals and four assists in 23 matches last season. Last season, Memphis became the first school to win three-straight Conference USA Championships. In 2010, the Lady Tigers return 10 starters from the championship squad to attempt to win a fourth-straight championship. The goals for Memphis don’t stop there as Coach Brooks Monaghan hopes his 11th season proves to be the season that Memphis claims the program’s first NCAA Tournament victory.

In a quest for a fourth-straight championship, the Lady Tigers will have 23 returning letter winners to couple with a class of seven newcomers that has been considered one of the program’s best recruiting classes. While the squad has claimed three-straight Conference USA Championships, the Lady Tigers aren’t happy just with being the top program in C-USA.

Perhaps the strongest position for the Lady Tigers, Ashley Berra leads the cast of returning forwards in 2010. The senior forward became the programâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s first All-American after a 15 goal eight assist campaign in 2009. Berra climbed into the top-five among career record holders with the break-out season and is poised to claim the top spot with a productive campaign in 2010. Senior Amanda Olszewski was a key reserve for the 2009 C-USA Champions and is expected to see playing time for the Lady Tigers. With a four goal, two assist season, Olszewski is a proven asset for the front line. Hampered by an ankle injury during last season, junior Lizzy Simonin, the 2008 C-USA Freshman of the Year, will look to regain her brilliant form from 2008 on the front line for the Lady Tigers. Also returning from injury will be redshirt junior Melissa Smith, who dazzled Evansville with 10 shots on Sept. 20. C-USA All-Freshman team selections Averi Hallman and Taylor Isenhower will build upon strong freshman campaigns last season and provide a spark of speed and finesse to the forwards. Hallman finished the season with two goals and seven assists while Isenhower posted six goals and three assists in 2009. Freshmen Rasheeda Ansari and Emmaleigh Davis will look to have impact seasons as freshmen. Ansari boasts tremendous speed and athletic ability that will give opponents fits while Davis is a versatile athlete who could see playing time at forward or defender.

One of the biggest reasons for the Lady Tigers’ unprecedented success the past three championship seasons has been the play and depth of its midfield. Senior Vendula Strnadova, a three-time first team AllC-USA selection, returns for her final season in the Blue and Gray. As one of the most talented players on the squad, Strnadova remains on track to break several Memphis offensive career records. After suffering a season-ending knee injury six games into the 2009 season, senior Laura Laufenberg will bring her leadership and talent back to the midfield for the Lady Tigers. Junior Lizzy Hildebrandt, who could also see time as defender, offers versatility and a proven scoring threat to the midfield. Coupled with three-straight C-USA Championships, the Lady Tiger defense allowed opponents an average of less than one goal per game for the third-straight season. Although C-USA Defensive Player of the Year Kelsey Bakker will be unable to suit up for Memphis in 2010 due to an injury, Memphis returns three starters on a defense that limits opponent’s opportunities to score. Seniors Brittany Hance and Krista Turner will anchor the Lady Tiger defense. The duo has switched positions since their freshmen seasons, but is each a key factor in the success of the program in the last three seasons. Tara Telford also returns to the fray after putting up a strong showing during her sophomore campaign. Fellow juniors Kelsey Robson and Tarah Kerr also return to the TA TARA RA TE TELF LFOR LF ORD OR D < backfield. Sophomores Bailey Pembroke and Christie Kline will build off their freshmen seasons and will vie for time in 2010. Two freshmen, Avery Dellheim and Ashley Barksdale, are also expected to play versatile roles for the Lady Tigers.

Only two opponents scored more than two goals in a game against Memphis a season ago. The Lady Tiger keepers posted a school-record 12 shutouts, including three shutouts over ranked opponents. Elise Kuhar-Pitters will enter the season as the starter, and few C-USA teams boast a player in goal as talented as the Washington native. KuharPitters started 22 games for Memphis a season ago, going 15-7-0, while posting a single-season record 11 shutouts. Also getting time in front of the net will be Jordan Boyle and Nikki Unland. Boyle played in one contest last year with one shutout and seven saves.

HEAD COACH < 11TH SEASON The Lady Tiger program has flourished on and off the field since head coach Brooks Monaghan’s tenure began back in 2000. The squad has claimed three-straight National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Awards, the 2009 C-USA Sport Academic Award, 12 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District IV selections and two NSCAA/Adidas Scholar All-Americans. Since Monaghan’s first season in 2000, the team has not posted a composite grade-point average below 3.0. Monaghan, the 2007 C-USA Coach of the Year, can look at the program in 2010 and see that his players have grown as players and people. The Lady Tigers have claimed three-straight C-USA Championships en route the program’s first three trips to the NCAA Tournament, 12 C-USA Player of the Year honorees, 24 All-C-USA honorees and 10 All-CUSA Freshman team selections. Under the guidance of Monaghan, forward Ashley Berra was honored as the program’s first NSCAA All-American.

Prior to taking on the head coaching duties, Monaghan served as the goalkeeping coach for former coach Les Szabo. As the primary goalkeeper coach, Monaghan was a vital part of Szabo’s staff during the program’s first four seasons. When Monaghan became the goalkeepers coach for the Lady Tigers, he was already familiar with the demands of running a successful college soccer program, having enjoyed tremendous success during his playing career at Memphis. The former goalkeeper still holds school records for single-season shutouts (11) and career shutouts (24). His 298 career saves rank second all-time and he is second in single-season goals-against average (0.80). He was named first team All-Great Midwest Conference in 1992 after helping lead the Tigers to a share of a conference title. In 1993, Monaghan was the Defensive MVP of the league’s championship game, helping the Tigers to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. His 38 wins at goalkeeper still stand as the school record.

ASSISTANT COACH < 2ND SEASON Memphis native and longtime professional goalkeeping star Jonny Walker joined Coach Brooks Monaghan’s staff in 2009. Walker brings with him more than a decade of record-setting professional experience, including becoming the first American soccer player to establish a successful soccer career in South America (Chile) and completing two different stints in Major League Soccer (MLS). Walker made an immediate impact on the goalkeeping trio of Elise Kuhar-Pitters, Jordan Boyle and Nikki Unland in his first season at the U of M. Helped by a tenacious back line of defense, the goalkeepers combined for a school-record 12 shutouts. With the guidance of Walker, Kuhar-Pitters set the individual shutout record at 11. The Lady Tigers also posted the second-best goals-against average in program history at 0.87, only the third sub-1.00 average in the 15 year history of the program. Kuhar-Pitters also became the first Lady Tiger netminder honored as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Central Team selection. As a professional, Walker was a member of Universidad Catolica’s championship team in Chile’s first division in 2002, and also played in multiple Copa Libertadores tournaments. He finished his South American career with Colo Colo, the only Chilean club to ever win Copa Libertadores.

ASSISTANT COACH < 11TH SEASON Jodi Grant is every head coach’s wish. She is an assistant coach whose talent goes beyond any boundaries. Grant has been a part of the women’s soccer program since its inception in 1995. Along with head coach Brooks Monaghan, Grant has led the Lady Tiger program to three-straight Conference USA Championship titles and its first three NCAA College Cup appearances. A native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, Grant enters her 11th season as a full-time assistant coach with the Lady Tigers in 2010. Prior to that, she served as a graduate assistant coach for one season and as a volunteer assistant coach for a year. Grant has been a great recruiter in Canada, as Memphis has brought in several Canadians over the past few years. Grant first came to the University of Memphis as a player on the inaugural Lady Tiger squad in 1995.In her four seasons in the Blue and Gray, Grant tallied 94 points, 33 goals and 26 assists, setting program records in points and goals. Grant’s records have since been passed by recently-graduated forward Kylie Hayes (200508). Grant is also the co-holder of the record for most assists in a game (four) and is second all-time in school history in assists in a season (11) and career (26). A third team All-C-USA selection as a junior in 1997, Grant was also named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team in 1995. In addition to helping Monaghan with on-field coaching duties and recruiting, Grant has also played an instrumental part in the Lady Tigers’ success in the classroom. During five out of the last six seasons, Memphis was the recipient of the women’s soccer team academic award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), and in the last three semesters Memphis has had 24 or more players finish with a grade-point average above 3.0. The 2009 Lady Tigers combined to post a program-record team grade-point average of 3.6 the last two semesters.

VOLUNTEER COACH < 6TH SEASON Amy Morrison enters her sixth season with the Memphis women’s soccer team as a volunteer assistant coach. Morrison had previously served as an assistant coach at both Kansas and Texas Tech. In Kansas, Morrison coached with the Kansas Olympic Development Program for two seasons and also coached for two clubs, the KCFC Dynamos and the KC Strikers. She currently coaches club soccer for the Collierville Lobos. Her last collegiate coaching job came in 2002 when she served as a volunteer assistant at her alma mater, Kansas. Prior to her coaching stint in Lawrence, she held the post of assistant coach at Texas Tech for two seasons from 2000-01. A three-year letterwinner and a two-time captain for the Jayhawks from 1995-97, she was a member of the inaugural women’s soccer squad at Kansas in 1995. Prior to her time at KU, she was a letterwinner her freshman season at Tulsa. While at KU, she also interned with the Senior Women’s Administrator and the soccer program in 1998. Morrison was awarded the National Coaching Diploma in 1998 and the Advanced National Coaching Diploma in 1999 from the National Soccer Coaches Association.

The 2009 University of Memphis women’s soccer team had no intentions of slipping to the back of the pack after back-to-back C-USA Championships. The Lady Tigers didn’t. In 2009, Memphis won the C-USA Tournament crown, garnered its third NCAA Championship appearance, and registered 16 more wins under Coach Brooks Monaghan. The Lady Tigers broke records on-and-off the field and combined the school’s winningest senior class ever with possibly its most talented freshmen and sophomore corps in history. RECORD SETTERS The 2009 University of Memphis soccer team etched their names in the program record book with three new team records. Goalkeepers Elise Kuhar-Pitters and Jordan Boyle combined for a single-season record of 12 shutouts en route to a school record 0.87 goalsagainst average. In the 4-0 victory over the University of Evansville, the Lady Tigers combined for a singlegame school record 50 shots, including an individual game record tying 10 shots from Melissa Smith. KuharPitters paced the Lady Tiger defense with a singleseason record of 11 shutouts. Over the course of the season, the netminder held the opposition scoreless in back-to-back games five times, including two shutouts against nationally ranked UCF. Kuhar-Pitters set a new single-season record for goalkeeping minutes played with 1,990 minutes logged between the goalposts for the C-USA Champions. IN THE POLLS After a 2-0 victory at 25th-ranked LSU to open the season, the Lady Tigers entered the top-25 polls for the first time since 2007. Soccer America ranked Memphis 25th after the shutout victory. Following a 4-0 win versus UALR, the Lady Tigers climbed to 24th in the Soccer America poll, marking the highest ranking in program history. Claiming its’ third-straight C-USA Championship at the C-USA Tournament, the Lady Tigers climbed to 17th in the Soccer America poll prior the NCAA first round match-up with Texas A&M. Memphis completed the 2009 campaign ranked eighth or better throughout the season in the NSCAA Central Region polls. The Lady Tigers were ranked third in the central region six weeks out of the season including a fourweek streak in October. In the final regular season poll released by the NSCAA, Memphis received 54 votes which slotted them 26th in the national poll and first in the Central Region.

SHOOTING STARS Using her quick speed to get behind defenses, junior forward Ashley Berra had an explosive season for the Lady Tigers, leading the team and C-USA with 38 points. Berra led the team and C-USA with 15 goals and posted a team-best eight assists. In the midfield, junior midfielder Vendula Strnadova continued her prolific career with 14 points on the season. Strnadova led the Lady Tigers with 68 shots, moving her into second place for career shots at the U of M with 181 shots. Freshman forward Taylor Isenhower capped off her first season at the U of M, earning Offensive MVP honors of the C-USA Tournament. Isenhower helped the Lady Tigers claim their third-straight championship with two goals in the opening round of the tournament. Isenhower finished the season second on the team in scoring with 15 points and second on the team in goals with six. MONAGHAN RECORDS 100TH CAREER VICTORY Head coach Brooks Monaghan recorded his 100th win as a head coach of the Lady Tiger program with a 2-0 win over Southern Miss in the C-USA season opener. With the Lady Tigers’ 16th and final win of the 2009 season in the championship game of the C-USA Tournament, Monaghan notched his 110th career win as head coach. In the past five years (2004-08), Monaghan has compiled a record of 66-30-5 (.652). DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS A clutch area in Memphis’ first two C-USA Championships, the Lady Tiger defense continued to pace the quest for a third with the second-best single-season goals-against average of 0.87. On the back line of the defense, C-USA Defensive Player of the Year Kelsey Bakker and junior Brittany Hance led the fearsome defense in front of Kuhar-Pitters. Memphis finished second in C-USA for goals allowed with 20 and second in C-USA with the 0.87 goals-against average. For the second-straight season, the Lady Tigers led C-USA with 12 shutouts. Memphis outshot its opponents in 2009, 364 to 210, and outscored opponents 45 to 20. NCAA TOURNAMENT For the third year in a row, the Lady Tigers received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by winning the C-USA Tournament. Memphis met Texas A&M in Baton Rouge, La., for the first meeting between the two schools. The Aggies prevailed with a 3-1 victory.

Since the league’s inception in 1995, Conference USA has risen the ranks quickly to become one of the top conferences in the nation. Boasting a dedication to excellence and community, C-USA has produced more than one million alumni across the nation who represented the conference athletically and continued to do so after the end of their playing days. Conference USA has considerable pull in the NCAA governing structure, along with traditionally-powerful conferences like the Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC. The presidents of the member institutions serve as the league’s board of directors. Entering its third decade of existence, the league has established a strong foundation, identity and history that reflects its national presence. In 2007, the University of Memphis women’s soccer program burst on to the scene claiming the Conference USA regular season and tournament championships. 2007 C-USA Freshman of the Year Vendula Strnadova nailed the gamewinning goal in the finals of the C-USA Tournament to give Memphis its’ first trip to the NCAA Tournament. Fellow freshman Ashley Berra earned C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP honors, scoring a goal in each game of the tournament. A staple of the 2007 Lady Tiger soccer squad was the play of it’s’ defense. Kelsey Bakker earned C-USA Tournament Defensive MVP as she helped the Lady Tigers shutout Southern Miss, UTEP and UCF. During the week-long C-USA Championship the Lady Tigers tied or broke six championship records, including most goals, assists and points. Memphis was the third team in championship history to shutout every opponent and win the championship.

Repeating as Conference USA Champions had been done three times prior to the Lady Tigers earning their second-straight championship in 2008. A four goal effort against East Carolina in the finals of the 2008 C-USA Tournament helped Memphis earn back-to-back championships. Four Lady Tigers were named to the C-USA AllTournament team. Laura Laufenberg earned C-USA Offensive MVP of the Tournament for her two game winning goals against UAB in the opening round and in the finals over East Carolina. Kelsey Bakker earned C-USA Defensive MVP of the Tournament. Strnadova who scored the third goal in the championship game and Brittany Hance also earned 2008 C-USA AllTournament Team honors.

The 2009 University of Memphis women’s soccer team entered the season looking to become the first Conference USA team to three-peat as C-USA champions. Entering the C-USA Tournament as the three seed, the Lady Tigers faced an uphill climb of three games to an unprecedented thirdstraight championship. Memphis answered the call in game one of the 2009 C-USA Tournament, claiming a 6-2 victory over host SMU. Taylor Isenhower posted two goals to lead Memphis to the victory. Lizzy Hildebrandt converted a game-winner in the 15th-minute and Elise Kuhar-Pitters made seven saves to post her 11th shutout of the 2009 season. In the finals, Memphis faced UCF. The Lady Tigers were aggressors from opening kick and claimed a 3-0 victory over the Knights to claim their third-straight C-USA Championship. Lizzy Simonin, Averi Hallman and Vendula Strnadova each tallied goals for Memphis to give the Lady Tigers an automatic berth into the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship. Isenhower was named C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP and Hildebrandt and Tori Dalton joined her on the All-Tournament Team. Kuhar-Pitters earned C-USA Tournament Defensive MVP honors after collecting shutouts in the semi-finals and finals.

NSCAA ALL-CENTRAL REGION TEAM Since 2003, 12 Lady Tigers have been honored as National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Central Region Team award winners. The NSCAA has recognized the performance of women’s soccer student-athletes that played significant roles on their team. Ashley Berra became the first Lady Tiger to earn NSCAA All-American honors in 2009. The forward posted 15 goals and eight assists, helping Memphis to a third-straight Conference USA Championship.

On the field, Memphis athletes continue to compete with the best in the nation. Among the recent highlights, the football team has gone to bowl games in five of the last seven years the women’s soccer team has won three-straight Conference USA Championships and the women’s basketball team made its first postseason appearance since 2003-04 in 2009-10. The Tiger men’s basketball team has reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in four of the last five seasons, and made the Elite Eight three times during the span. The baseball team received an invitation into the NCAA Tournament in 2007, and the men’s soccer team won the C-USA Championship in 2004.

Ranked by The Sporting News as one of the “Top 50 Sports Cities In the Country,” the city of Memphis is a large metropolitan city with a hometown feel. From its big-city industry such as FedEx and the Memphis International Airport to its small town family recreation areas such as Shelby Farms and the Memphis Zoo, our city boasts all the amenities you would expect in a city with over 1 million residents, while retaining the charm and down-to-earth feel of a small town. On the sports scene, Memphis residents rally around their hometown Tigers as well as the NBA’s Grizzlies and the Triple A Memphis Redbirds. And, for hockey enthusiasts, just across the state line resides the Mississippi RiverKings. The city also holds major championship events including: the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, the Southern Heritage Classic, the Regions/Morgan Keegan Tennis Championship, the Cellular South Cup, the PGA Tour St. Jude Classic, the U.S. Open Racquetball Championship. Considered the “Home of the Blues” and the “Birthplace of Rock ‘n Roll,” the city of Memphis’ musical roots run deep. However, music is just a chapter in the history as well as the future of the city located in the heart of Mid-America. Beale Street, located in the heart of downtown, has rapidly become the entertainment center of Memphis and visitors and locals alike enjoy the food and music offered in the various establishments. Where Beale Street meets the Mississippi River is Tom Lee Park, site of the annual Beale Street Music Festival. The weekend-long event is just a part of the month-long Memphis in May International Festival which also includes the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest and the Sunset Symphony. Elvis Presley’s Graceland is one of the five most visited home tours in America and is the most famous home in the United States after the White House. In 1991, Graceland was placed on the National Register of Historical Places. Over 600,000 visitors tour Graceland each year. The city also boasts other historical and entertainment options as: the National Civil Rights Museum, Mud Island River Park, the Memphis Botanic Garden, the Brooks Museum, the Pink Palace, the Orpheum and the Stax Museum to name a few.

Dr. Shirley C. Raines became the 11th president of the University of Memphis on July 1, 2001. She is the first woman to hold the presidency of the University, which was founded in 1912. Previous to her appointment at the University of Memphis, Dr. Raines was Vice Chancellor for Academic Services and Dean of the College of Education at the University of Kentucky. While at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, she received the Distinguished Faculty Member award and has received two research awards from the Eastern Educational Research Association. She is the author of 14 books and numerous journal articles and is widely regarded as an expert in teacher education and early childhood education.

R.C. Johnson has worked 37 years in athletic administration. He was named the Director of Athletics at the University of Memphis on December 29, 1995.

R.C. Johnson came aboard in February of 1996 and immediately set forth in bringing U of M Tiger athletics into national prominence. Over the last 14 years, the dynamic administrator has built Tiger Athletics into a nationally-recognized program that has been to five bowl games in the last seven years and played for the Men’s Basketball National Championship title in 200708. In addition, for the last 12 straight years, donations to the department have continued to rise, and on June 28, 2010, a record-setting $7.3 million was announced by the Tiger Scholarship Fund. Also in the last seven years under Johnson, the Tigers have captured 14 total C-USA championships in men’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s golf and men’s track. The men’s basketball program has garnered five regular-season titles (2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) and four C-USA Tournament championships (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009), while the women’s soccer program claimed consecutive league championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
