Common Grackle

COMMON GRACKLE Quiscalus quiscula

Relatively large, with long legs and a long tail. They have a flat head and a long, downwardcurved beak. From a distance, the Common Grackle appears to be solid black, however up close one can see their iridescent body, as well as their golden eyes.

The Common Grackle is found in a variety of habitats including agricultural feedlots, city parks, meadows, and woodlands.
