On April 27, Writing by Design Media, Inc. hosted a virtual Candid Conversations with Entrepreneurs panel discussion. The panelists included Chelsea Burwell, Jada Davis, Jarlecia Jones and Justin Key. The topic was independent contracting and freelancing.

On Oct. 18, a virtual edition of Candid Conversations w/Entrepreneurs will be held in recognition of National Women’s Small Business Month. Candid Conversations w/Entrepreneurs was created in 2019. The goal was to share the stories of emerging and enterprising entrepreneurs in Memphis. During the pandemic, CCE was done virtually. Now, it is an inperson and virtual project. The panel discussion will include women entrepreneurs in Memphis, Jackson, Nashville and Murfreesboro.
