am a graduate student at university for the creative arts, majoring in Design innovation and Brand management. I am a Chinese. The purpose of my study in the UK is to establish my own handmade jewelry brand after I return to China. I am a quiet girl, and I like to make things by hand, so in my major project, I want to do something related to future planning. I decided to make handmade jewelry. In this subject, I hope to get some experience from the physical sales of the market, such as target group positioning, crowd preference, brand name, etc., in the hope of getting some consumer comments and Suggestions. I believe I will get effective information and inspiration from it. The following is the introduction of jewelry products designed and made by me. My value concept is unique, which is reflected in the pearl and handmade. Pearl is formed after a long period of natural growth, each is unique, as people in general, no two people are exactly the same, so the pearl is my theme. The second is handwork, which is different from machine mass production. In the busy times, we live, we exist
and feel and more and more people repeat the process of going to work, eating, leaving work, returning home and sleeping every day, living the life of the office and residence, and bearing the pressure of growth and survival. Slowly, we lose ourselves and warmth in the way of growth. Many people in life inadvertently began to yield to the temptation and yield to life, become adrift. Just like the life of a fish, if they follow the flow of water and give up trying, they will tumble, dislocate, and swoon into the shallows. Inversely if they facing the current is more rapid, the fish mouth is facing the flow, not willing to drift down. Only this way fish to maintain balance and get nutrients from the water. The rule of life is to rise against the current. Only in this way can we have the chance of survival and the meaning of survival. For the design field, the current design is mostly fast-paced and mechanized, designed to please the mainstream market, so it is cold, fast, not environmentally friendly, emotionless, poor quality and carcinogenic. I don’t want to be a machine on the assembly line. I want to design to warm you up.
