Robots enhance geratic mobility in Chinese aging society Individual Design Work as Graduation Project 11th January, 2016 - 15th June, 2016 Academic Advisor: Liu Long The average lifetime has been prolonged because of economical development in China, therefore, Chinese society has gradually stepped into the aging process. Prototype - Make sure the structure is feasable

Owing to lack of time, the ratio of measure scale is one to two, so that the prototype could associate my expression in graduation exhibition. I was happy to get a host of positive feedback and I'd love to improve it if possible in the future.

DRILL REMINDER Hand drill for tough ladies

Based on design language of Dyson Intensive workshop about common core and design method Teamwork 8 days 30th July, 2017 - 6th August, 2017 Academic Advisor: Wang Zihao There are 10 partners in total participating in this project, including our academic advisor. At first we were divided into two group, then each group explored design language and rebuild common core of a brand. Secondly all members took part in brainstorm and ideation for new concept of drill design. At last I tried individually to combine our new concept of drill design and brand DNA of my group exploration - Dyson.

Each of us try to visualise our idea with sketchs. Then we discussed all the concepts, analysed and voted to explore one or two concepts in depth.

We disassembled a concrete hand drill to have a initial simulattion of our flitered concepts, so that we can ensure the context of use is reasonable.

Sensor for drawing area is used as a pen cap. The structure of the pen cap is inspired by iPod Shuffle, which can be hided and seems more minimal.

Building a shape similar as diamond, pentagon is also comfortable for fingers. Pentagon in a circumcircle (R=5mm) makes the pen mostly comfortable to use. Pentagon in a circumcircle (R=7mm) guarantees a space for AAA battery (R=5mm).

TRIANGLING Multifunctional furniture

New possibilities in knockdown furniture Team Work 6 weeks 3rd April, 2015 - 15th May, 2015 Academic Advisor: Liu Lidan, Fan Zhong Partner: Joakim Lindholm from Linkรถping University, Sweden Inspired by IKEA, our professors hoped us to find some novel and interesting structures in knockdown furniture. We acquired a host of knowledge about some smart structure in Chinese traditional puzzles in this project.

Having pieces that fit together to create a large structure, but that also fit inside each other for small storage, which allow it to expand or shrink quickly without losing the parts.

Combining soft and hard materials creates strength and flexibility. Integrating a tool enables quick assembly and disassembly.

Pieces can support each other to create a strong construction. With proper shapes of the pieces there is no ned for glue, screws or other fasteners.

The angle of the supporting lower bar is slightly over 180 degrees thus causing it to interlock without the use of a sprint or any kind of lock.

Bending into 3D Deformning metallic materials can turn a two dimensional material into a three dimensional shape.

Prototype - Experience test 1. Draw the basic frame in CAD and use laser-cutting to make it 2. Cut and polish polyurethane blocks 3. 3D print the brim of the helmet 4. Color it and finish the tighten structure 5. Try the prototype on, then experience the visual fields and airflow

Conclusion: a. brim should be tuned angularly to fix different users' need b. air inlet and air outlet should be balanced

Concept - Home theater system without concrete screen Goal

Enhance the pleasure during enjoying the same hobby with each other Design opportunity:

a. automatical connection between domestic devices in different rooms. b. workspace in secondary bedroom is necessary, and interaction between living-room and bedroom can contribute a better experience. c. both of them like watching films on large screen, which offers them more chance for communication.

Concept design in 3-5 years for Lenovo Trend analysis based on current market survey Individual design work as a intern 3 weeks 31st August, 2017 - 21st September, 2017 In product development department of Lenovo, innovation brainstorm meetings are held regularly aim at creating future concept. My manager asked me to share my opinion in a presentation because I am a freshman in IT field with unrestricted thought. I concluded users' preference trend based on big data, then I designed a further concept combining current product line of Lenovo.

The most important information Conclusions 1 In the past several years, sales of 3C products increased dramatically. 2 Smart phone is a important competing product for personal computer, Whitecollar workers constitute most computer users, while slash youth and freelancer constitute most smart phone user because of portability. 3 Customer demand of 3C products focus on entertainment and gaming, but for some high net worth users, mobile officing is also very important. 4 Demand of gaming notebook and thin&slim notebook grows rapidly. 5 Because of consumption upgrade trend, the sale of high-end products make more breakthrough in each sales campaign. Users like to spend more for better user experience. 6 Wearable devices form new fashion in 3C industry.

Micro USB Hung on wall indoor, it is a controllable touchscreen displaying normal conditions about weather, security, entertainment and so on. Charger for Gesture Controller Controller can be hung on it because of magnet for charging and both screens can interact with each other. Only screen can also control devices because of infrared transponder in it.

Motion Sensor Switch

Infrared Transponder in it Motion sensor switch can detect human body, then control devices and security system automatically via infrared transponder in it, according to previous setting of users. Customers can design their home system according to their own demand.

Normal Touch Switch Transitional Product Considered that not all users would buy all the products of R2 Smart Home System in some conditions, we offer a choice that they can use normal switch instead of completely automatic control. Tailor-made for Hotels or Companies Most of high level clubhouses or hotels want their interior devices seem special. Because production technology of touch switch is mainly silk-screen printing, we can provide tailor-made service to those clients.
