01. DENIM FORECAST
Denim is never out of style. They are easy to style with other clothing and super comfortable to wear. That's why seasons after season we see Denim reoccurring in different styles. Here are three style trends that I have found rising to popularity.
STREET INFLUENCES
Street influences anchored by a youthful attitude. Vibrant colors feel more interesting in clean cuts, offering a look that is easy, comfortable but also sharp. Streetwear brands, such as Off- White, are experimenting with fonts and slogan placements. These details give designs a sense of modern and an easy chic style. I feel like I could see this street style influencing denim shown in every fashion week. It is not a new trend but a lasting trend in the Denim World.
EMBELLISHMENTS
One of the most prevalent denim trends is denim with embroidery. Whether it is flora, fauna, stitches or sequin, these embroideries add a little something extra to the denim style. As the picture above, the denim vest from Coach with embellishments is rebellious and youthful.
ECO WARRIORS
A piece of denim requires the use of huge amounts of water in all stages of the manufacturing process. Sustainable materials and designs attract younger, and more environmentally-conscious consumers. Slowmade goods and recycled materials tie into a wider desire for sustainability.
The importance of sustainability cannot be denied, it makes brands more attractive. Now some companies are leading in the sustainable, ethical, quality, and locally-made denim industry. Eco-denim collections have already surfaced in recent years from big name retailers such as H&M, Patagonia, Esprit, and Levi's to sustainable enthusiasts, such as Eileen Fisher.
02. FREEDOM OF ART SCHOO
OL
Freedom of art school is a trend that I have found in WGSN which I think is very interesting. This trend inspires this bold trans-seasonal story. Some art elements such as sculptural forms, expressive sketches and color pairings are offering a charming and experimental look. Color is a leading factor for this trend. The color palette is all about highsaturation colors. I think the styling features color-blocking, which has been around for a while, but now it has been cropping up in creative new ways. Some brands are high-lighted for this trend such as J. W. Anderson, Christopher Kane, and Prada.
ROMANTIC FRILLS
03. SWIMWEAR FORECAST
This year, women are looking for swimwear that make a big statement. And here are two st swimwear. The first one is swimwear with frills, and the second one is bondage details. The r feminine of all the trends. Swimwear with the contemporary designs and seductive shapes are in style. Simple frills appear in sculpted fabrics create dramatic volume and shape. Feminine fr create a nostalgic look. A good inspiration can be taken from brands such as Lisa Marie Fernande

BONDAGE DETAILS
ndage details inspire swimwear for S 18/19, with designs focusing on ver hardware and multi-strapping tails. Personally, this little detail ds more fun elements to the imwear. The use of black or white uld accentuate the drama of this k. In my opinion, these are the two in upcoming trends of swimwear d will be seen frequently on cation hotspots.
For the next season, WGSN predicted l i n e a r p r i n t s , e l e v a t i n g w o m e n’s basics and loungewear with delicate detailing. Minimalist graphic prints in a monochrome color palette were seen seasons before. Overhaul geometrics with ultra fine lines were used for subtle graphic appeal. For a luxurious touch, decorative silks and satins with tonal line work highlights a selection of shapes in a contrasting color. Minimalism has been popular these years, and I predict that it will endure the test of time.
04. DEFINING LINES
05. POETIC ROMANTICISM
After Gucci brought the flamboyant style back to the stage, romanticism is alive not only in womenswear but also menswear. Shirts and jackets with botanical prints, opulent footwear, and accessories are often seen in this trend. Inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement, embroidery is also a huge element in this trend. Jacquards, velvets and silk are the main textile.
06. GINGHAM
Gingham was seen at shows throughout fashi including Carolina Herrera and House of This print is as classic as polka dots or strip quirky looks successfully drew attention of e bloggers. The picture on the bottom is from 1 know, fashion is a circulation and gingham is comeback. I think it is a good alternative pr florals prints are too feminine. GRAPHICS& PRINT
07. SLEEPWEAR FORECAST
TS
Graphics and prints in this trend includes tropical prints such as palms, pink blossoms, and fruit prints in soft pastel color palette. Watercolour is the key element, offering a soft and gentle feeling to the graphics and prints. This season’s fruit print became more popular than ever.
SLEEP SETS
Cropped Cami Set and Cropped Pyjama Set in delicate prints are the biggest styles in this trend. Soft pastel colourways with contrast piping make this print feel new for high summer.
Lounging robes are playful, alluring. Casual jersey slip is updated with prints mixed in with palm leaf and tropical florals. These two styles are very popular in the young fashion market.

8. SECOND SKIN
Second-skin is an accessories and footwear trend for upcoming winter. This trend inspired by Balenciaga's shimmering leggings filled the Spring 2017 collection. It is fun, interesting, and exciting to look at and it also makes for an exciting editorial or magazine cover shoot. Synthetic and coated materials are the representative elements in this trend, which create textural contrast and offer a futuristic look.
We could also see these synthetic and coated materials on Celine's shoes from their latest collection and on Dior's bags. I think this material is fun but also tricky to manipulate. Especially the tight boots from Balenciaga, it is a challenge to wear in public as it is more suitable for people with a model physique.
