1. Climate

Menorca’s mild Mediterranean climate promises over 300 days of sunshine a year to enjoy outdoor living, with average highs from 14° in winter to 29° in summer. Out of season, the weather is ideal to practice a wide variety of sports including sailing, hiking and cycling.

Airlines and ferry operators have increased connections to the island during spring and autumn. Mahón International Airport offers direct flights to approx. 70 destinations across Europe. The airport’s private jet terminal has experienced another record year, with 53% more flights than in 2019. Regular ferry connections are from the Spanish mainland (Barcelona and Valencia) and Mallorca, and Corsica Ferries operate a service three times a week from France (Toulon).
