Ein Paradies zwischen Himmel und ERDE! Es gibt 18 Ortsteile in Tremosine: einer liegt am Seeufer, die anderen sind verstreut auf einer landschaftlich abwechslungsreichen Hochebene; umgeben von Hügeln mit unvergleichlich schöner Aussicht auf den Gardasee. Tremosine liegt inmitten des Parks “Alto Garda Bresciano” und hier zeigt sich über eine weite Strecke das eigentliche “Wesen des Ortes”. In diesem unter Naturschutz stehenden Gebiet befinden sich alle natürlichen Vorzüge. In erster Linie geht es um das Landschaftsbild, den hier vermischt sich die Schönheit der höchsten Berge mit dem Blau des Sees-eine Landschaft, die ihresgleichen sucht. Zwischen Bergen und See, zwischen Alpen und Mittelmeer erstreckt sich die grüne Hochebene von Tremosine wie eine “unbefleckte Oase” zur “Erquickung des Geistes”. Gegenüber, auf der östlichen Seeseite, erhebt sich das gewaltige Massiv des “Monte Baldo”. Auf der westlichen Seite beeindruckt die “Forra”, jene Straße, die entlang des Wildbachs “Brasa” durch dessen tiefe Schlucht nach oben führt; manchmal wurde sie in den Felsen gehauen und dann wieder in erstaunlicher Weise auf Felsvorsprüngen gebaut. Bei der Einweihung im Jahre 1913 wurde sie von einem Korrespondenten der Frankfurter Zeitung “als schönste Straße der Welt” bezeichnet. In wenigen Minuten gelangt man auf ihr vom quirligen Treiben in den Ortschaften an den Ufern der Gardesana zur Stille auf der Hochebene, wo die Natur dem Menschen all ihre Schönheit offenbart, wenn er von den Terrassen der Berggipfel auf den Sees hinabsieht. Von der “Schauderterrasse” aus, 350m über dem See gelegen, raubt einem die Aussicht nahezu den Atem! Beim Hereinbrechen der Nacht und der damit verbundenen Essenszeit kann man hier besondere Köstlichkeiten einer einfachen und doch erlesenen Küche vorfinden. Es gibt zahlreiche Gaststätten sowie Agritourismus Einrichtungen, die sich mit typischen traditionellen Produkten repräsentieren. Auch beim Essen zeigt sich wieder die Verbindung der mediterranen Küche mit der alpenländischen. Besonders angeboten wird Fisch aus dem Gardasee genauso wie Wildbret aus den Bergen-oder das berühmte Olivenöl aus dieser Gegend-sowie die hochwertigen schwarzen Trüffel und letztendlich die köstlichen Weine und besonderen Käsesorten. Tremosine ist einzigartig dank der Vielfalt der angebotenen Möglichkeiten für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub!!! Selbst DANTE hat in seiner “GÖTTLICHEN KOMÖDIE” diesen Platz erwähnt: …”der Ort befindet sich an der Stelle, wo der Bischof aus Trient, der Bischof aus Brescia sowie jener aus Verona-falls sie des Weges gekommen wärenihren Segen ausgeteilt hätten”…
A PARADISE HANGING BETWEEN THE LAKE AND THE SKY! Eighteen fractions: one of which is situated right on the shore, and the remainder dotted around on a busy plateau. It is set on hillocks of panoramic beauty towering over the entire Lake Garda. Tremosine is situated in the heart of the “Parco Alto Garda Bresciano” (Brescian Upper Garda Park) and it embodies its very essence, whilst bringing together all the natural and environmental qualities which are characteristic of an area of protected nature. The most significant among these qualities has to be its scenic beauty. Here, the highest mountains in the Park fade into the blue of Lake Garda, creating settings you have never seen before. A natural haven yet untouched and unspoiled, the green plateau of Tremosine stretches out among the mountains and the lake, the Alpine and the Mediterranean and comforts the souI of its visitors. Opposite, on the other side of the lake, Mount Baldo stands imposinglv. The road running along the deep gorge of the Brasa stream Is marvellous, at times dug deep within the rock and others jutting out from overhanging cliffs leaving you in awe. Upon its inauguration, back in 1913, a correspondent for the Frankfurter Zeitung defined it as “the most beautiful road in the world”. Driving along it, it takes just a few minutes to go from the animated Lake Garda shore to the peacefulness of the plateau, where terraces sheer above the lake display all is splendour to the human eye. From the “Terrazza del brivido”, suspended 350 metres above the lake, the view is breathtaking. And, when evening comes, you can discover the delicacies of refined yet simple cooking. There are many typical restaurants as well as numerous holiday farms whose strong points are the very typical products and traditions of the region. Even as far as cooking is concerned, the mingling of Mediterranean and Alpine flavours can be noticed: from lake fish to mountain game, from the famous Garda extra virgin olive oil to the noteworthy black truffles, and from wines to a variety of cheeses. Un Eden tra lago e cielo! Diciotto frazioni: una in riviera, le altre sparse su un movimentato altopiano, incastonate su poggi di incomparabile bellezza panoramica che dominano l’intero Garda. Tremosine si trova nel cuore del Parco Alto Garda Bresciano e ne incarna l’essenza più vera (oltre 70 Km) e raccoglie tutti i pregi naturali e ambientali dell’area naturale protetta. Primo tra tutti quello paesaggistico. Qui le montagne più elevate del Parco si confondono con l’azzurro del Garda, offrendo scenari che non hanno eguali. Tra monti e lago, tra alpino e mediterraneo, è adagiato il verde altopiano di Tremosine, un’oasi naturale ancora incontaminata che appaga lo spirito.
