Why do people sometimes feel frustrated when taking cooking lessons in Paris ?
« There were too many people in the group.. » « It was not exactly what I wanted to learn… » « The class was in French…and I felt embarrassed to make questions.. » « Classes are on a fixed day, fixed schedule that did not suit my other plans… »
« It’s easy when you cook in a professional kitchen, but cooking
at home, in a normal kitchen is not the same… »
As an answer to all those, who kindly, many times asked me « Why don’t you teach
in your home ? » is that I decided to start with my custom-made courses where you will learn : what you want the day and time you want (unless I am not available on that specific day)
« …so could I have a class on macarons and profiteroles ? I don’t seem to master the pâte à choux ? »
« Could I make an entremets, with the thin biscuit layer, the inserts with different mousses, and a ganache ? »
« Could I learn to temper chocolate in a normal kitchen ? »
« Can you teach me to make Argentinian empanadas and a French Millefeuille ? »
« Could we then photograph what we have cooked, and discuss food-styling techniques ? »
« Could we have lunch, eating what we have cooked ? »
The answer to all these questions is « Yes » because in my cooking lessons, you will learn what YOU want to learn….alone, or with a friend…
