re the pansies in your flower beds rotting off? Most likely it’s one of two things: First, over watering will cause pansies to root. To fix this problem, treat with Agrifos and water only when the soil around the plants is dry. Cutworms can also cause pansies to root. Cutworms can be treated with Liquid Seven or BT. Both products are available at Robby's Nursery. Bring along a sample plant in a plastic bag and we will help diagnose the problem. This week’s gardening tip is from Kathy Robinson of Robby’s Nursery. Do YOU have a gardening tip you’d like to share with our readers? Post your gardening tips and photos of your garden on our web site at: www.bakersfieldvoice.com.
