ABOUT US Merchant City Tourism & Marketing Co-operative Ltd was established in 2008 as a local enterprise initiative supported by funds from Scottish Enterprise, Visit Scotland and local businesses in the neighbourhood of Glasgow’s Merchant City. The Co-operative is a not-for-profit local enterprise promoting Glasgow’s contemporary scene and its historic and ancient heart, The Merchant City. We run a nationally focussed advertising campaign, a number of very successful social media channels and distribute tourism information guides. Our regularly updated website encompasses all businesses and promotes events happening in the Merchant City.
