CFL CLASS

The Sonny Montgomery Fitness Center held a Command Fitness Leader Class on January 14-18, 2013. The purpose of the class was to educate attendees on the methods of properly entering PRT scores, as well as, how to give variety in fitness classes according to Navy policy. Those taking part in the weeklong class were Lt. Joe Burns, Lt. Claire D’Antonio, ABHC Ramone Harris, LtJg Shannon Sullivan and PS1 Ponce’ Cruz. Liberty Super Bowl Party with FREE food and big screen game viewing. The Liberty Center will stay open for the entirety of the Super Bowl game.

Tuesday, February 5 Double Elimination Pool Tournament

The tournament begins at 1900 in the Liberty Center. No entry fee – prize awarded to the winner. Register the day of the event.

Thursday, February 7 Video Game Tournament

Saturday, February 9 Birmingham Mall Shopping Trip

The Riverchase Galleria Mall has a combination of 200 shops and restaurants for you. We leave the Library parking lot at 0800. The cost is $10 per person. Please pay and register at the Liberty Center by Wednesday, February 6. A minimum of 20 people is needed for the trip to run – NO REFUNDS (unless the trip is cancelled).

Now you can have the best seat in the house! The theater at McCain Recreation Center has reopend! The theater is now equipped with 36 theater style seats with cupholders and are also handicap accessible. Movies premiere weekly at the theater and showtimes for movies during the week are 1800 and for weekends at 1300.

Patrons may choose from over 800+ movies in the catelog at the McCain Recreation Center service counter. The theater is also avaiable for meetings, trainings and seminars during the week.
