SHAWNEE MISSION PARKWAY

Chatlain Park

Nestled along the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail, Chatlain Park is one of Merriam's most active and beautiful parks consisting of 5.25 acres. This park recently became the first park in the world to have a We-Go-Swing, an all-inclusive swing that allows people in wheelchairs to remain in their chair while swinging with their friends. Pack a picnic, take a stroll, enjoy some Vitamin D, and relax in the beautiful outdoors.
