Jean Paul Gaultier’s lingerie revolution can be owed to his grandmother, who at a young age, introduced Gaultier to the world of Womenswear. The designer’s affinity for her 20th century corsets and 1940s waist-cinchers inevitably led to the design of the iconic cone bras.
