Different Vision WePhoto Book - 2015 - Eastern Europe - vol 3

Cover by: Magda Smużniak ©

Different Vision Here we go! this second issue (volume I, II and III) is dedicated to East Europe (For East Europe we indicate the ex URSS and ex Yugoslavian and Balcanic, that maybe represent some cultural likeness). The idea for this series was born looking at the myriad of wonderful images in Wephoto Group pages. Authors from all over the world, each with their own culture, traditions, a world view that, although globalization, has different colors regarding different areas So part of this series has the goal to explore every world’s Macro region, and offer a proof, a featuring, trying to figure out if and how traditions and culture can give a “Different Vision”.

This is our second eBook from that series. The first, dedicated Asian Authors is available for download via Apple iBooks Store, Amazon Kindle Store and Lulu.com, as separately reported. I would like to thank all the authors for their cooperation, patience and enthusiasm. Almost daily we did talk about the achievement of this book, how to select photos and so on, different countries, different cultures, different languages, and yet we found ourselves in the WePhoto’s chat, talking as old friends in one language, feeling as if we were sitting at a table in a pub to have a drink together. This is the most beautiful side, perhaps, of this work. Demonstrate that we are all the same, it doesn’t matter where we were born, we share the same passions, the same fears, the same hopes.

A special thanks to my Friend and Admin Dick Visser, for the supervision of the graphics, layout and the realization of the book, and with whom we are fighting together to achieve a single version to be offered to various platforms. I push everyone to watch, read, spread to friends, acquaintances, sharing on Facebook and wherever else this book.

Dorota Rogiewicz Wloclawek, Poland

It has been a few years since I fell in love with photography. I remember the day when I took photos of my friend in the forest and…I “felt” it ! Mostly people inspire me. They are so different. It is not just about their faces, bodies but also about showing their emotions, feelings and facial expressions. I am fascinated with that, I am able to close it in simple, black and white frames. The world of black and white photography is incredible ! It is like feeling “ the soul” of the photos for me. Simply just have a look and feel a part of my passion… 9 | WePhoto 2015 ©

Blaž Poljanšek Ljubljana, Slovenia

I live in Ljubljana which is a capital of Slovenia. My interest in photography started when I was eight years old, when I joined first photo group in elementary school. I can express better with b&w photography. In my opinion colors are often disruptive and they hide the point of the photo unless the colors are the point. 21 | WePhoto 2015 ©

I’m a photographer based in Poland. My adventure started 8 years ago when my daughter was born and she was my first inspiration. Photography is a very important part of my life. It gives me freedom,

happiness

and

lets

express

myself.

Via photography I create my own tiny world with no limits - people, places, moments and emotions which I would like to remember in my own way. I like taking black and white photos the most. My friend once said that I’m like Henry Ford - I like every photo provided that they are black and white. 33 | WePhoto 2015 ©

Photography for me is a way to stop time, to tell a story, convey emotions that have never and will not be the same. Thanks to her, I began to observe the world around with different eyes ... I notice more detail, the beauty of nature, views of cities, and in people’s faces reveal emotions... In this world alienation portrait photography allows me a certain communication with people and the ability to draw from them what is the most beautiful... 45 | WePhoto 2015 Š
