Once a year the German city of Friedrichshafen becomes the meeting place for outdoor experts from all over the world. 2016 saw 21,507 trade visitors from 92 nations travel to Friedrichshafen for the world’s leading outdoor industry trade fair. Outdoor experts’ gathering. Alongside high-quality outdoor and camping equipment, footwear and clothing trends, each year the trade fair offers industry insights from experts at the OutDoor Conferences. High-profile speakers present the latest developments from the outdoor industry and discuss the current challenges for the sector. Another highlight is the OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARDS presentation, where innovative and sustainable products receive the coveted Oscars of the outdoor industry. Extra media presence driving your success. Every year national and international journalists report on THE outdoor event by Lake Constance. 2016 saw 1,031 media representatives from 31 countries come to learn about the latest trends and developments in the outdoor industry. In addition, the internal communications department of Messe Friedrichshafen provides journalists with comprehensive press information, high-quality images and TV and radio materials. This year the OutDoor Blogger Base hosted 137 international bloggers from the outdoor and travel industry, who reported the latest news from the trade fair live on their social networks.
