BUSINESS AND PASSION The 22nd edition of AERO Friedrichshafen, Europe’s largest and most important trade show for General Aviation, will take place in April 2014. In 11 exhibition halls and a large static display area right next to the airport, about 600 exhibitors from about 30 countries will be presenting the industry’s latest innovations. Whether it be UL/VLA, gyrocopter, multiengine or turboprop aircraft, helicopter or business jet, visitors to AERO Friedrichshafen can experience the fascinating world of aviation up close. Engines, propellers, avionics equipment, maintenance and other services as well as pilot supplies are also covered by AERO 2014. AERO Conferences: A key pillar of AERO. With more than 100 conferences, lectures and workshops, AERO Friedrichshafen will address topics of importance to the General Aviation community on all four days of the trade show. High-caliber experts from FAI, AOPA and major manufacturers associations such as GAMA and LAMA will talk about political conditions, trends and innovation in General Aviation.
AERO SPECIALS 2014 AEROCareer – with support of aerokurier The General Aviation job fair is the platform for students and professionals looking for information on job, training and career opportunities in the aviation sector. Aviation companies and universities present themselves and meet and talk with visitors about the job options available. Various workshops, traditional and online job boards support all those wishing to enter or develop their careers. AVIONICS AVENUE – supported by Flugrevue Once again, it‘s all about avionics equipment in the Avionics Avenue section in Hall A6. The special exhibition deals extensively with flight control and management systems as well as communications and navigation systems of various brands. Visitors can try out the latest equipment and applications in the dedicated test area for headsets. ENGINE AREA – powered by fliegermagazin For the third consecutive year, the Engine Area in Hall A5 will be devoted to propulsion systems of different design and technology. Whether it be piston engine, electric motor or turbine engine, the special exhibition gives its visitors an overview of the products available in the market. Particular focus will be on maintenance, engine management systems and alternative fuel solutions. e-flight expo The e-flight expo – a firmly established section at AERO Friedrichshafen. The terms electrical, ecological und evolutionary stand for ecologically sustainable propulsion systems and airplanes. UAS/RPAS Expo The use of civil drones plays an increasingly important role in General Aviation. Various unmanned aircraft equipped with sensors and measuring devices will be presented as part of the UAS/RPAS Expo. The UAS/RPAS Expo will also feature a UAS indoor flying display area.
