30 years of EUROBIKE –
30 Years Of Bike History
1991 2010 2000 2022
Launched in 1991 as a mountain bike trade fair at Lake Constance.
First electric bikes and pedelecs are presented in the 2000s.
The cargo bike boom of recent years visibly reduces the barrier between bicycle and car. The bike becomes a part of commercial traffic.
2023
Relocation to Frankfurt, increasingly important role of the bicycle as part of the green mobility transformation.
Further development as a mobility trade fair.
Extending its portfolio beyond the bicycle/e-bike: In future, EUROBIKE will represent the entire spectrum of urban, sustainable mobility – ranging from sharing providers via infrastructure suppliers, lightweight vehicles through to last-mile concepts.
How EUROBIKE sees itself
Creating spaces for exchange, new ideas, a change of perspective and strong partnerships for innovative mobility solutions and new business models.
Setting new benchmarks and identifying key issues in the fields of sport, leisure health and mobility.
EUROBIKE is: The central platform for the bike and future mobility universe
... and fulfils this role together with strong partners and visionaries from politics, commerce, society and the mobility sector.
Shaping the transformation of the bicycle from a leisure and sport device to a key element in a sustainable mobility transformation.
