COMPREHENSIVE AND INFORMATIVE The INTERBOOT opens the doors to all worlds of experience in water sports. Sailing and cruising belong to them, just like wakeboarding, kiting, surfing, etc. The INTERBOOT copes with this variety and therefore meets the demands of different exhibitor groups. We offer a convincing information spectrum which is broad and thorough at the same

time and ranges from individual sports and supply to the service and information behind them. It is our target to address all people who are fascinated by the element water, regardless of the type of water sports. We are amenable to unconventional ideas, go for innovative ways and ensure a high-quality experience for your product worlds.

SAILING BOAT • T he Sailing Competence Centre is the right place for your lectures about the topic sailing. • J oin the INTERBOOT Academy with lectures, workshops etc. • G et involved socially. The integrative Mini 12er Sailing for handicapped children is just one example.

MOTOR BOAT • S hare your knowledge, just like the experienced female skippers do in their motor boat training for women. • A t the ADAC Powerboat School, visitors experience the thrill of power boating.

THE HARBOUR • O ffer your customers a test drive. About 130 moorings are available in the harbour. WHAT MAKES WATER SPORTS THAT FASCINATING? We cannot give a general answer to this question. Water sports have always been a very personal experience. Some people seek freedom and relaxation, while others strive for adventure and self-awareness. Individuality which cannot be moored to a certain world of products or events. It’s all about those very personal and incomparable moments of joy on or in the element water. Therefore, we say:

• T ake part in Start Boating and introduce visitors to water sports on the second weekend of the fair. • A ctive in the harbour yet? With a Skipper training you can learn how to sail better and more efficiently. • T he INTERBOOT Trophy is about ranking points for more than 100 solo sailors.

INTERBOOT ACADEMY • B ecome a part of the INTERBOOT Academy. The ­programme includes all workshops, lectures and ­seminars at the INTERBOOT.

“For us, the INTERBOOT is like an in-house exhibition, and therefore an important platform and an integral part of our annual planning. We found this year’s show really great. The concept of Hall A3 was quite nice, lively and well-structures, and the visitors noticed that, as well. We also liked the general concept; and got positive feedback for the new circuit. The standing wave in Hall B2 was a visitor magnet and attracted a lot of young people. And we found the atmosphere in the lobby very pleasant. The INTERBOOT is currently on a good way. HAVE YOU TRIED IT? With a test drive on Lake Constance you give your customers the opportunity to experience products and water sports in an authentic way. During the time of the exhibition, 130 moorings are provided for our exhibitors in the INTERBOOT-Harbour. In the year 2016, the harbour master registered about 1,500 customer voyages.

SPACE FOR AUTHENTIC WATER-SPORTS EXPERIENCE We want to make the fascination of water sports go viral, even beyond the exhibition grounds. Beside the INTERBOOT-HARBOUR with its manifold testing facilities and the organization of spectacular sports events, we are present at the water front in Friedrichshafen attracting the audience’s and media’s attention. Media are actively involved. One example is the INTERBOOT MEDIA-CUP, a sailing regatta with media representatives from Germany, Austria and Switzerland competing against each other. Top-class regatta sport is presented, directly at the Friedrichshafen water front, with the internationally announced INTERBOOT-TROPHY. Adrenalin-pumping moments are provided by the ADAC Powerboat School’s power-boat training, where all the brave ones learn how to drive on the water at high speed. Anyone who is not completely exhausted after that, can admire the breathtaking skills of professional boarders at the Nissan Wakeboard Show in the harbour.

WHY DO SO MANY SWISS PEOPLE VISIT THE INTERBOOT? On the one hand, the high number of visitors from Switzerland shows their interest in water sports. Switzerland has the highest density of boats in Europe, based on the number of inhabitants. On the other hand, INTERBOOT cooperates closely with the Swiss Boat-Builders’ Association. The result of this cooperation is the SUISSE@INTERBOOT, an exclusive exhibition area for Swiss exhibitors.

HIGH PURCHASING POWER The INTERBOOT owes its outstanding visitor numbers to its 足comprehensive, year-round marketing activities in the Lake 足Constance region, encompassing four countries. Southern G 足 ermany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein belong to the catchment area of the fair. Those four countries form a common German-足 speaking economic region with a high purchasing power. Impulse buying at the fair can be hoped for, just like bigger investments in the personal passion for water sports.
