Interesting platforms for valuable encounters Industry gathering: Mining A focal point with increasing appeal The topic of mining became its own exhibition sector for the first time in 2004. By 2010, the exhibition categories for mining and raw-materials extraction and processing had more than 600 exhibitors from 31 countries. That is why this is such an important business platform for the mining industry—with outstanding opportunities for networking and interesting business prospects. Profit from the growing number of exhibitors and the increasingly international range of exhibits.

6

bauma Forum: For an inspiring exchange The 2013 bauma Forum will fill the mining sector with additional life and ensure a lively exchange of ideas and opinions: Events and lectures by top experts await you in Hall C2. This is the place to find out more about the industry’s latest trends and developments. For other interesting perspectives, look into the country specials and the product and company presentations in the bauma Forum.

PARTNER COUNTRY

Indonesia

Partner Country Indonesia: A rapidly growing market with potential One of the most important global markets of the future will be a guest at bauma 2013: Indonesia. Between now and 2025, the fourth largest nation in the world plans to invest 465 billion US dollars in infrastructure projects alone. Get to know this pulsating country better and profit from its dynamic nature. The Indonesian Pavilion, the accompanying

lecture program and the “Indonesia Business Lounge will revolve entirely around dialog and networking. It is the perfect place to get firsthand information about planned projects. Co-initiators of the Partner Country Project are the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) and the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works.
