Today’s solutions for securing tomorrow’s quality of life and the environment. Welcome to IFAT 2014. As the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, IFAT constantly demonstrates its importance – and sets standards for an entire industry in the process. In 2012, a total of 2,939 exhibitors from 54 countries gave visitors an inspiring look at the world of tomorrow and presented innovations and solutions in the sectors for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. Until now, the fair primarily dealt with ways to dispose of waste or to treat water on some 215,000 square meters of exhibition space. In the future, it aims to heighten awareness about dealing responsibly with valuable resources. It will showcase strategies and solutions for using resources in intelligent cycles and in a manner that ensures their long-term preservation. IFAT 2014, which takes place at the Messe München trade-fair center from May 5 – 9, 2014, has become a “must” for many companies in the sector for environmental technologies. Take advantage of this opportunity to present your products and services to a qualified audience of professionals from around the world, to cultivate existing contacts and to obtain new business partners!

During the 2012 fair, more than 16,000 visitors took advantage of the opportunity to participate in some 320 lectures and discussions on topics such as water management, phosphorous recycling, recycling management legislation, waste-to-energy solutions and mega cities. A diverse and impressive program of related events awaits you again in 2014. One focal point at the 2014 fair is the topic of “intelligent urbanization”, which is being implemented as a separate platform at several events organized by Messe München. During IFAT, experts will discuss urbanization solutions and exhibitors will present their products and services for metropolitan regions.
