Warehousing is a component of economic development. Having warehousing and logistics support is an important element to many companies’ ability to expand and or be attracted to locating their business in our area.

White Transfer and Storage’s core business is partnering with manufacturers to assist with their storage and logistics needs. Altogether, White Transfer and Storage owns and operates 850,000 square feet of commercial warehouse space. White Transfer has five business locations, including Webster City, Forest City, Clarion and Algona. White Transfer has approximately 45 employees that keep the operation moving. The company moves 2,000 to 3,000 pallets across their docks and loads or unloads over 100 trucks per day. White Transfer stores a variety of goods for customers from tool boxes, to cans, to drywall, to additives for animal feed.

From a service standpoint, White Transfer strives to be a true partner in our customers’ operations. We pride ourselves on anticipating what our people need and being creative to meet those needs. White Transfer and Storage has recently implemented new technology for scanning and accounting for goods that flow through their warehouses.
