Restaurant Platta serves the diverse customer base of the Fair Center from morning to night, from breakfast to business meeting and evening meeting. At Platta, everything is made in house from fresh ingredients. The charcoal grill is kept hot and pizzas are prepared by hand from start to finish. The restaurant is inspired by seasonal variations, craftsmanship and delicasies, says restaurant chef Markus Fogelholm. The communal restaurant night can be enjoyed in the hotel's stylish lobby bar with cocktails and specialty beers. As part of the Holiday Inn chain concept, Open Lobby combines lobby and restaurant Platta into a common oasis for eating, drinking, working, realxing and socializing in a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is open every day of the year.

The new hotel concept will make the events at the Fair Center an enjoyable part of the hotel guest experience. The event hotel has 245 double rooms. The new service concept also includes Open Lobby, which offers comfortable working, relaxation and dining space for hotel guests, but also opens doors to all city dwellers. The hotel has direct access to both the Exhibition and Convention Center and flexible connections to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, train station and downtown Helsinki.
